Who told u it's under sized? The size is the same as standard pulley. It's not a underdrive pulley set.
*
That day Drex from EA told me it is undersize a bit, that's why I hold the plan for a while.. If not for sure I straight away install wan..

For sure it's lighter, but it cant be undersized. If it's undersized the belt would be loose, which is very dangerous. And if it is undersized u'll have to replace bigger accessory pulley & water pump pulley as well, hence the term 'underdrive pulley set'. Unless Drex offers a undersized pulley belt as well to keep the tension.
*
Undersized by mean of a smaller diameter bro.. And for loose belt, campro use that spring type tensioners that set the best tension for the belt.. However, if u think its still too long, can always change the belt 1 size smaller.. In term of width, its still the same as the stock pulley..

My point is, will I experience any effect after change to an undersized pulley such as lower alternator voltage, longer compressor running time & a slightly heavier steering?

I know what u mean by undersized la sweat.gif which is why I asked u if Drex did offered to change ur belt as well. And no, the last time I changed the pulley, it was exactly the same size as the stock pulley, only weight difference.

Lower alternator voltage, yes. Longer compressor running time, no. Heavier steering, no. Shorter battery life, yes. Reduced engine cooling (water pump), yes.
*
Ok noted. Thanks.

If you run the engine only at idling speed for the next entire year without driving it. YES.
*
Yup.. But Drex, I guess it should be better.. Like a motorbike with a smaller front sprockets? Lower force needed to spin those alternator & etc etc.. Right?

Heard of AUTO TENSIONER?
*
Yup, Campro engines has that.. So, no issue of a loose belt.. Even if it in anyway become loose, can always take 1 size smaller belt..

QUOTE(Cavino @ Dec 13 2011, 08:11 AM)
Wah new car before run in already go up genting...not really recommended until AT LEAST 1KM oil change. There's still a lot of metal shaving in initial oil. Besides that all components still very new, should take some time to run in before pushing hard.

PE ada babes admire punya kah.....how come mine tak ada babe admire punya...maybe becoz of the uncle sitting inside.

The "SAFE TINT" is just that....makes you "FEEL" safe. Otherwise the only probably effective function it has it to filter the UV ray that discolor your car equipment, leather, dashboard. Its heat resistance is next to none, sit in a car with no tint, probably feel the same heat pass thru no matter what they boast on paper. If there is A bubble at rear windscreen, I would definitely remove it ASAP. The rear demister might tear when you remove the tint especially after a long time. Thats why I always advice a good tint at rear with GOOD workmanship that can last a long time....without bubble. Other windows can use whatever tint your budget permits and be remove and reinstall at any time.

Maybe can talk again with your GF coz the original tint is practically similar to no tint with possibility of growing bubble due to poor workmanship. I analysed and tore out mine the moment I get my car earlier.
*
I tore mine the next day I received my car.. Now my tint is as cool as snoop dog..

i also got wor.. but i keep complain the sound happen when go on uneven road... the sound is somewhere around right front area... i also suspect something wrong with the steering rack... how u complaint?
*
I put the car on hoist and check myself lo.. Already knew where that sounds come from, so when follow SA to test drive, I point him which hole to go through at low speed.. When come back at workshop, I straightaway point where the sounds coming from..

They have the steering rack for non-PE.. PE's steering rack using same parts with gen2 cps.. So they don't keep stock..

Oh ya, I also claim the oil sump because when my last service, that SA misaligned the nut and tight it, so the thread loose already..

Looks like we are the only ppl who have power window problem for our PE so far..
The first time i changed my power window, then it was ok.. But unfortunately it spoilt again..
So changed the 2nd time recently. I noticed that the new power window motor moves slightly slower.. U can notice this by winding both the front window up and down.. Usually the driver side window goes up and down very fast.. Faster than the co-driver side.. BUt now the driver one is slower than co-driver in going full up and down..
*
Actually not broken la, just got "gok gok gok" sound when go up & down.. But hell with it, a complaint is a complaint..

Yeah same like mine too.. The power window still can wind up and down.. Just that the motor wont stop when it reach the end..
*
I see.. Then it should be the regulator module there.. But what for claim for regulator only right? Better take the opportunity as much as we can while we're able to claim for warranty.. I'm expecting my warranty will end on my roadtax renewal month something like that..

opps...nope..i wont service there. but my SC provide really good services and cheap price which i do go back there for major services. but still now use own lube.
*
In order for u to entitle the warranty, u have to maintain full service record with SC.. I will be sending to SC until 50k km only, after that, just service it myself only..
