Tuition fee bro.. sometimes that's just the way ppl learn..

Engine flush is not necessary, but it's good to be done on a new engine as it flushes out all the metal shards & debris that piled up from engine break in..

2 of the most screwed up things I saw this morning:

1. Chinese uncle around 60+ with a whole head of white hair drives his fully black, slightly pimple out (20 inch rims) Panamera 4 to breakfast at a kopitiam.

2. Indon maid (with a license?) driving a Chinese grandmother & her grandchild to the same place where I had breakfast. It's a new Sonata. A maid drives a better car than me.

That uncle, of course. his car itself more than my net worth + 6-7 years of salary d. Ya la. Maid drive sonata. And I drove that dogbite iswara there. Damn mempersiasuikan.

They put it that way to cater to different market's demands ma. Let's just say we're comparing Avanza to Exora (price wise). The Avanza starts at RM 64k for Manual 1.3E to RM 80k for Auto 1.5S. The Exora, on the other hand, starts at RM 58k for B-line up to RM 77k for H-line. To be honest, u wouldn't buy a Malaysian made car if u can afford something better, no? Proton gives many different version (or lines) to cater to customers with different earning abilities to grab the market, but the downside to this is that they had to remove many of the necessities from B & M-line models.

Even in European countries their cars are offered in different specs. But when imported to Malaysia, it's usually the intermediate/highest spec model that made it to our shores to make the brands feel more 'premium'. Go Europe see for urself how they treat 3-series like junk there.

Speaking of which, do u know that in Europe, the lowest spec 3-series (the E90 316i) is offered with steel rims and a 1.6 120 HP engine with 6 speed manual? What do u think will happen to the sales of local cars here if it were to be brought into Malaysia?

U know la, some Ppl takde duit but wan big car then they have to opt for the cheapest,low spec version in order to meet their needs (big family, big boot, etc).

At least their steel wheel look nicer than our pasu bunga la..

No ah. If they sell it at RM 150k or so sure can sell like hot cakes lah. The 316 is the most basic with black door handles, steel rims & 1.6 engine mah.

I also was on pasu bunga. Dont worry.

Turbo makes 138 hp, CPS with a bit of tuning can make 145. Really cannot brain why they bother to turbo it.

CVT still ok lah. Transmission loss not that bad. But the figures bug me a bit tho. 1.6 turbo but 138HP. but the torque figures are high. So probably the new exora will have lots of low end grunt & hill climb ability but top end still same.

Just because u're a married man with a family of 6 doesn't mean u'll have to put all ur dreams & hopes of driving a fast car on hold. Honda Odyssey? Toyota Caldina? Hello...

For me if I were to get an MPV, it has to be sleek, fast & sexy (Caldina, Odyssey, Stream, Mazda 8), not tall & boxy (Alphard, Vellfire, Exora, Serena).

Not a big fan of SUVs lah.. Except for Cayenne, RR Sport Supercharged & Hummers..

Who say? I thought it was taken over by some China company?
