Thats also prolly why the Mitsu/Proton deal is made, and for Mitsu to protect the LGT drivers ma...

Neither Proton nor Mitsu have advertised or openly said that the Inspira will be as powderful as the LGT.... they even said that Inspira will have lesser ponies....

Thus they use ASX ECU mapping on Inspira lor.....
*
bro, sorry to kacau, but now all latest lancers have the same power output as inspira.

More info the better...

Same output as in they LOWER them for LGT too??? I tot LGT have more ponies, thus more output, than Inspiras???
BTW, Pip is asking for the nyek nyek bush replacement part no... do u have it???

not for the 2011 lancers anymore. all has 110KW and 197NM of torque. probably to enhance the FC or provide more responsive drive or something

Oh... they are prolly doing it to prolong the engine and CVT life too.... and better FC to most owners are always a better thing....

Only Inspira drivers soh lou smart go add performance push to increase FC....  brows.gif  brows.gif
*
haha..in malaysia FC not biggie, but overseas, FC is a major concern. that is why they probably tuned it to be less powerful but better torque.

but of course, we need to see the 2011 lancers to confirm..or the australia and singapore lancers cuz their website along with mitsu global website states the numbers provided by proton as well

malaysia mitsubishi still list GT as 155bhp .
*
haha...but weird though cuz the MMC website shows the same graph as the one in the MMM but the numbers are different. same shape

Unless malaysia is so special to MMC, i dont see why it'll devote 1 settings to MMM and leave the rest to other states.

Ciao for lunch .. then hunt rublik down for dyno!
hehehe
if only manage to squeeze in my car 1.8 MT for 1 round dyno

Added on December 2, 2011, 12:24 pm

bro .. even different version GT might have diff mapping la ..
only inspira currently share it all over..

EX mapping is same as GT but it is a different rom la...
*
maybe, maybe not...we'll need to see the latest mitsu lancers to be sure.

Yes, that is my concern. the turbulance might cause some power loss, but as you said, a dyno is the best way to prove it
*
haiya..if u r concerned get ori lah..

was thinking the same when i went for ori strut bar. the ori's welding is different and the bar has alil curve to it compared to the taiwan's.

i wouldnt risk attaching a non spec bar to my car's chassis but others might see it as small issue.

just get the one which u'll b happy over it. biggrin.gif

for the bar, i can get ori at cheaper than mitsu SC around 280, but i get those taiwan one? u know why? the welding ori one are worst than ori sturt bar, regard this... ask uncle poadster to explain.  biggrin.gif

Added on December 2, 2011, 12:31 pm
order jo...... get ori la, much more leng............
*
im aware of it, but it is not the welding which im worried about, it is the length which i have not compared and im not too comfortable with it.

despite the crappy welding, ive never seen a lancer's strut bar crack.

Well... those LGT ppl are his BOSS ma.... he makes profit off of them.... no???

BUT what i dont get is this, its very obvious that Inspira will over run the numbers of LGT on the road, and thus making US his biggest client pool.... but he still screwing Inspira drivers, thus I bring my moolah to other places and sellers....
*
bro, can share what is the difference between the taiwan n ori lancer strut bar?

i havent seen the taiwan 1 before apart from the welding

perhaps to lets say cracks started, there is it wont spread i think.... some kind of protection. maybe need to ask mitsubishi for more info.
*
u can check the ori bar, at the lower part. there is sum sort of rivet there that connects the O ring and the water pipe.. brows.gif

Then shouldn't be a stronger welding the better in preventing crack spread?

nono..the lower part..

imagine it is installed on to ur strut towers...then the bottom part where the O ring and the steel pipe is welded..run ur fingers there and u'll know what im saying

Hi fellow inspira owners,

Would like some honest feedback from you guys. Is there any CVT jerking, rubber band effect on the inspira? I'm considering to buy a new car and inspira is a good option but I have a bad experience with CVT as I'm currently driving a Honda Jazz and I wonder did mitsubishi/proton get the CVT right in the inspira?
*
go test drive...we are biased. tongue.gif

honda screwed up their customers by putting ATF into CVT.

i have a city idsi at home, 5 years already, still as smooth as my inspira.

the arrow there..u run ur fingers at the bottom, u can feel a hole there and it is welded, like a rivet or something. round and smooth.

thats why, longer doesnt mean stronger. tongue.gif

cabut!

True to a certain extent but I just think probably one test drive session would not dictate the CVT reliability to me so I decided to seek for some honest feedback from the owners itself. Will surely evaluate further on this. Thanks.

no problem lah..it is being used in the 2.4 litre sportback as well. flex.gif

Yes, there are. There are jerking during shift of gear when i got my car. Same goes to my old City. These are easily rectified by the SC. Rubber band effect is there, and will always be there for CVT. You will feel the jerking if you got up to 80kmph, let go of the throttle and let it slow it. For me, this is normal, but since you asked, anyone tested this? Because my old city is much worse than this car.
*
this is called............engine braking.

u see, as for normal AT, it'll just drop a gear and maintain engine braking..

for CVT, u dont have any gears..so it'll change it to a higher ratio, hence the jerk.

this jerk is the one which saves our lives when we go downhill.

INVECS III for mitsu, for honda, i dunno what but it works the same.

for nissan it is x-cvt

for toyota it is super duper omg super power cvt - i i i i i
