Yes, there are. There are jerking during shift of gear when i got my car. Same goes to my old City. These are easily rectified by the SC. Rubber band effect is there, and will always be there for CVT. You will feel the jerking if you got up to 80kmph, let go of the throttle and let it slow it. For me, this is normal, but since you asked, anyone tested this? Because my old city is much worse than this car.
this is called............engine braking.
u see, as for normal AT, it'll just drop a gear and maintain engine braking..
for CVT, u dont have any gears..so it'll change it to a higher ratio, hence the jerk.
this jerk is the one which saves our lives when we go downhill.
INVECS III for mitsu, for honda, i dunno what but it works the same.
for nissan it is x-cvt
for toyota it is super duper omg super power cvt - i i i i i
