Thanks. No lah, I did not get them all at one go. Got them one by one over a period of 3 years. Still have a few to go actually. I put them still in their boxes because I want to put them in a separate place. Been busy and never had the chance to put a lot of thought in it. Keep putting it off. I think cheapest would be to get the Ikea Detolf. But now no place where to put it without getting too much questions from the wifey.

Lastly, Happy (English) New Year to all. Hopefully in 2012 I get to start collecting LP670-4.

Don't like the Spec-V specifically. I prefer the original release or rather the release with gun-metal rims like the 1:12 AA and Kyosho ones. In fact come to think of it, the R35 is one of the very few JDMs that I like.

Anyway, just won one of my holy grails. It was a long shot and put my minimum bid only at the very end. Didn't expect to win it. Hopefully, it turns out ok.

If I'm not wrong, the Lotus Esprit from James Bond movie can go underwater.



Myke, your photos of the orange MP4-12C with the "downlight" look like they were taken from a real 1:1 showroom.

Nice. HPI's are one of my favourites when it comes to 1:43 scale. I seldom come across this livery though. I have 2 other blue Subaru Rally cars from HPI 1:43. Need to check which one. Trying to find photos of it but don't know where I placed it.

Mattel / Hot Wheels did try to make it very upmarket and try to challenge BBR with some nice box packaging. But there's no individualized serial numbers.

Anyway, if I recall, there was some confusion or error with regards to the colour and the model number that Autoart puts on the box. Something like putting the 74523 number which is meant for Orange but the car is yellow.

Anyway, I also have similar taste with you. I collect race cars as well but I like both liveried and non-liveried ones. Geeamino has a built-up kit for the Super GT F430 as well as a black red BBR F430 GT2 if I'm not wrong and if he did not add some more.

1:43 scale has more choices for race cars than 1:18.

Well, there's always the 1:43 scale. Cheaper and still as good.



BTW, this one is from Le Mans 2008. The 1:18 is from Le Mans 2007.

Yes, agreed. But both colours are nice on the Aventador. On the 458 Italia, I prefer the silver rims. Black rims did not look too nice to me with yellow. Only on a car like the Avendator did the black wheels with yellow body look nice.

Wahlau... The Aventador looks great in matte black. Love the red calipers. What's the colour of the interior? Did you consider the other black (Nero Pegasus)?

Too much orange? There is no such thing as too much ! If too much, please pass it to me !

Anyway, AA is really making things difficult. Too many nice models and no money.

In my opinion, the BBR one looks good from the video. Why do you say it does not look as good as the MR?
