see Pg 1 -- Anybody know how to rearrange the dock?

1. by default, there should be a beep when the battery is fully charged.
2. you can also wake the phone (turn on the screen) to see charging level
3. from my understanding, modern (and ORIGINAL) battery/ charger is smart enough not to overcharge and explode in your face. so, what's the concern?

saw Brothers in Arms 2 is FREE on Market. downloaded and sadly... FC before the game started. managed to see the cutscene for the 'first level' but there was on part with a 1-2 second lag... might test on on sgs2 and compare if there's lag. quite sure it should be fine on sgs2.

had tested with another game earlier and note does lag a bit compared to sgs2... *sigh*

no mention of $$$?

anyway, the rm10 i bought... is quite similar, but i worry cannot hold Note's weight. previously bought for sgs2. plus, i think that old one i have... i think in cannot fit the note in landscape mode. have to go back and try...

if you have read about these smash and grab (the trend in klang valley), these guys are really pro... they just do one knock and it normally shatters the window. and then split second, grab the bag on the seat or even at the foot place!

but i think those security tint... they provide protection (don't shatter so easily)... so should be better gua... but the idea is... dun attract too much attention. if have to put, better to put it an centre rather than at the sides (near window).

it uses some inductive/ magnetic thingy... technology by wacom. some tablets screens that uses this technology... then yes, the pen will be swappable. i have a HP notebook that uses this technology... so i can use the s-pen on the notebook and the notebook's pen on the Note. <-- confused?!? lolz...

as for digi or u-mobile or telco plan... i was originally thinking of getting the note from digi. but in the end, bought direct from SEP. reason being digi dun let me reject the Note even if i see 1 pixel. samsung's exchange policy states (if i'm not mistaken) 1 dead pixel is acceptable and no repairs required. i want my display to be perfect. so dowan to take the risk. plus, buy from SEP, i get 2 yrs warranty.

the other reason being... after using smart phone on digi for a while now... i'm beginning to realise how sucky it can be to have your download speed capped. i recently bought a u-mobile prepaid starter pack to try it out... i was surprised that i could download like 2000kbps up to even 5000kbps.

digi caps the speed to 7xx kbps though sometimes you can get up to 1000kbps.

@stringfellow the pouch... i guess the note+flipcase won't fit, right? note will need to be naked, correct? i kinda like the flipcase now...

the digi fella explained to me (and i accept the explanation coz its logical) that they are just another 'dealer'. any warranty claims... it should go back to Samsung. to them, once you take that bundle, its yours... got defect, you deal with digi.

with that... i walked over to SEP and got my set from SEP. that explanation from digi was from the IoI outlet. there's a SEP just a few steps away...

Added on December 8, 2011, 4:05 pmya... for me... in the end... i just considered the extra few hundred (abt rm400 since i was only planning to get rm48 plan for 12mths) as purchase of warranty for 2nd year la. plus, i get to test to my satisfaction first. and SEP also allow instalment plan (extra charge)...

only thing i was not happy with the SEP... and its not really 100% their fault... i dunno how and why i ended up buying a rm60 SP from them... when its only worth like rm10. they did claim it was rm90 outside which i later think its BS... maybe i was just too happy about the Note that day till i forgot to think rationally... lol...

errr... old news leh... since early this morning already got a new list (which includes Flick Golf <-- i actually find this fun)...

just sharing what i was recently doing... bought a rm8 u-mobile starter pack... tested at the areas i normally hang out (office, home, etc)... found it good... now porting over. dun forget... digi caps the download speed. u-mobile, in shah alam, i could actually get up to 5000kbps.

i recall earlier on that owners feedback the launchers in the market is laggy on note (probably not optimised). but i still went and bought today's ADWLauncher EX @ 10 cents.

installed and i find it smoother than TouchWiz, though I've yet to add any widgets, etc...

huh?!? no need la... how you set the pattern lock in the first place? just go back to the same place and set to no password la...

first time you click that security thing, it will prompt you for your current pattern. after that select none...
yes, that option is called change pattern lock.

saw one of the 7" tab by samsung... with voice call function. selling only at rm16xx... hmmm... how come our note so expensive?!?

i went to samsung service centre today... and this was their reply...

1. the hissing sound from the charger is NORMAL. personally, i don't think so. but since Samsung said they will not action on it, i guess no choice but to use other charger.

2. during charging, i noticed some section of the screen (usually the side and bottom) is not so sensitive and might not register my touch. they took my unit, asked engineer to test... came back and said ok. again, personally, i think there's an issue somewhere with the note... but since samsung said nothing wrong, i guess hard to claim otherwise.

for both, i mentioned that there have been similar reports in forums... but still...?!?

ya, I think is the changer problem too coz I know some owners here dun have that problem.

but what to do... Samsung officially told me it's normal.I should have asked for an official report... coz I worry that long term, it's not good for the phone.

from what I recall, one member who is also a seller said white does come with flip cover.maybe yours kena flicked?

the blue actually looks black.but under certain lightingcondition, you can see it's a bit blueish, especially when the flip cover is there coz the cover is black.
