-Yes 3.0 gigs will do more than 1.5 gigs only if its being used. Like running bare windows with 4 gigs or 8 gigs of ram, you won't be able to tell the difference. I'm not saying your memory isn't being used, because it likely is, whether or not it makes a difference, for the most part, is very little. The amount of memory matters not so much as other graphic card components and specs, like core speed, number of shaders, shader speed, ram type, ram speed, etc.
This is just my thought, but I think dell offered 3.0 gt555m upgrade because there wasn't any room for different graphics cards, mainly because its soldered onto the mobo.

Added on December 18, 2011, 7:15 pmjust replace ur optical drive with HDD and use SSD for main system disk..., become dual drives system. as for optical, external optical drive nowaday r slim enough to be always inside my laptop bag...

Can we start sharing of IDT sound settings for generally all AW users?

Im using this on Altec Lansing VS 2621 speakers. The default music setting has not much clarity and dialogs in games is a bit boomy. This setting allow me to hear vocal clearly.

the alienware sound card sucks to the max for my experience, get an external creative 5.1 sound card and the sound totally will be different

I am using external Sound Blaster USB GoPro... much nicer sounds now...
