My song collection are bassy, but not dubstep-bassy though. Coming from Sony MDR-EX50LP/R, which i bought 4 (FOUR) times due their sound but couldnt withstand my extreme usage. Since the XBA-1 is nowhere in sight, im looking at MDR-EX310SL/L right now.

- Genre of music you listen to - normally alternative ... but i want to explore more
- Headphone/ earphone type-  no idea, which 1 is good? i want to listen while laying on bed lol
- Other requirements (if any) - budget 150-200 including Fiio E3 Amp

Since you prefer more on bass, between those two I recommend you AKG K271 MKII (Fully closed + Studio monitoring) then AKG K240 MKII (Semi-open). But, if you looking for more bass you might want to try out Beyerdynamic or Audio-Technica PRO series headphones.

Hello friends,
I'd like to equip myself with a new pair of headphones. In the past i had ש Sennheiser CX model and the AKG Q350 model (Quincy Jones), which both were nice but hadn't knocked me off my feet. This time I'd like to have your advice prior to the purchase in order to be right on the spot. I really want headphone with clear sound, high sound separation and quality.

- File format: Flac
- Music genre: Jazz, classical, rock, grunge and alternative
- Budget: Not more than 600 RM and less will be welcomed
- Headphone/ earphone type: IEM or ear buds
- Other requirements (if any): I'd like to use the headphones while doing sports, such as running, bicycling and running. I don't know if its a consideration but I'm mentioning it in case it is...

Thanks a lot!

And another question is about the DUNU Trident mentioned here befoe - Why should it be a problem to use them while doing sports, while using the other models mentioned for sports is ok?
