Try to avoid ath t series including t500 when it come to sound quality. Look into ad and a series instead. I've tested T500 and they sound terrible.

Price wise , spec wise . Maybe will get this . Can I know whats the difference between a rm 2 k headphone with a rm 100 headphone . Because for me it's about the same quality

guys.. thinkin of making small upgrade.. already own Koss ksc75.. have in mind ATH SQ5 (maybe 2nd one la).. and get entry level Fii0 amp..  it is really worth it? budget around 200-250 all inclusive..

however, i still layan SOAD, Muse like.. really dont know what to choose.. huhu.. with amp or without amp..

Realised I'm spamming gshoppe85's Audio Technica thread so decided to move my request here:

I'm currently looking for a pair of full-sized closed back headphones which works well delivering female vocals.(Brave Song by Tada Aoi should be a good example) I've read that Audio Technica phones tend to do well in this aspect. gshoppe85 has recommended the A900x, which is within my budget of 1k. I'm seriously considering them but they're out of stock, are there any models out there which can perform the same? (ie, forward mids, mid bass and a more "closed" feel)

Woodies eh? Just checked out head.fi and they seem to fit the bill. Though I still prefer black&chrome to wood cups.

The guys at Jaben suggested the Beyer DT880 and the AD900 as well as the SRH1440. Is HiFiMan any good? Not very familiar with planar magnetic phones. I heard they need a really powerful amp to drive those.

- Other requirements (if any): I am hoping to find something with good mids, as I read vocals tend to be centered on the mids. Less analytic, more relaxing maybe?
