Good to know. Compare to the A700, which looks quite fragile.

What do you think of the ear pads? Thats my main issue between the two now.
*
I haven't tried A700 before, but what do u want to know about the ear pads? Comfort or durability? I believe they are durable enough but comfort wise, they get hot after 30 minutes of usage but I believe it is very normal for pleather pads.

I would like to ask for suggestion here. I've been thinking to buy either Shure SRH840 or 940, but still not decide yet. Is it better to buy 840 and use the extra money to buy an amp, or 940 worth at that price? Is the 840 consider an upgrade from my ATH AD700? Also is there any other headphone to suggest me that is close.

- My Rig:  laptop/PC and handphone
- Type of usage: 50% music and 50% gaming/movie
- File format: mostly mp3 and some flac
- Music genre: classics, rock, pop, R&B, jazz, etc
- Budget: ~rm1000
- Headphone/ earphone type: headphone(close)
- Other requirements (if any): Prefer something more detail and natural but have a bit more bass than my current ad700. Even if lack bass not that much problem since I not really a basshead. Also hope to get one that's comfortable since I'll be using it for at least few hours in a day.

Thank you
*
SRH840 has more bass compared to SRH940 while SRH940 has more details and more neutral. Comfort wise, velour pads of SRH940 win hands-down and the clamping force is not as tight as SRH840. I personally would recommend SRH940 over SRH840.

i'm looking for an IEM <RM150
currently looking at A Jays One+ as i can use it for my phone as well.
i listen to all sort of music from instrumental to pop

used to own AL IM716 and Hippo Shroom EB but that was years ago.
never keep track of IEM development and today's hugeeeeeee variety of choices gave me a big headache. tested more than a dozen of IEM within RM200 from jaben last week but none really came out shining.

suggestion?
*
Sound Magic PL50, Brainwavz M1/M2, and some IEMs from MEElectronics. Check them out, Jaben doesn't carry these few brands. Otherwise just go for A-Jays 3, they are warm, fairly balanced though leaning towards bassy signature, will sound good for most genres of music.

I'm currently using a pair of BA IEM, Feels Pro900, and I like the sound of it. cool.gif So I decided to get another pair of BA IEM
Oh, and I didn't use a proper pair of Dynamic driver IEM before, so I don't know how it sounds like compare to BA.
Pro900 is my first proper IEM, before this I'm just using stock earphones. smile.gif
*
I don't know about others but that day when i was testing headphones in Jaben, i tried the Feels Pro900 too since it has quite a number of good reviews here. But it just sounds so unnatural and digital to me, doesn't give neutral and natural sound that BA usually gives. I took it down my ears just around 1 minute of listening to it sweat.gif

Recommending studio headphones for a friend. He's doing instrumentations.

Budget: RM1.5K
Full size cans. Flat, clear, detailed SQ.
*
Shure SRH940, DT880 250/600, both are clear and detailed headphones. Can take them into consideration.

I already have deal in purchasing DT880 Pro (250ohm) or maybe 600ohm (if i can get a deal)
and
Tiny Tube V2 (preamp+DAC)

total for 1400... I think this will be good deal..

The question here anyone have done deal with yhong or George.low / hongrui ( i dont know why he got 2 account)
or should i just COD? but the headphone guy at JB and im at KL

SRY: sry if you 2 ppl are trusted seller, i just cant find your name in Succesful Trade List name
*
Not sure about yhong but if i were you, i would rather grab this bundle, and i got a brand new DT880pro + Govibe Peak amplifier, rather than a 2nd hand unit. Just my opinion though.

Hi guys. Im planning to upgrade my cans. Currently using audio technica ad500. Now wanna get something with warm sound signature, and not tiring after hours of listening. Purpose is mainly music, specifically jazz and oldies. What do u guys recommend? Budget around 1k (max can go 1.2k). Thanks! notworthy.gif
*
Warm signature? I can only think of D2000/2nd hand HD650 at that price range. Otherwise DT880/SRH940 they are bright sounding cans but I think they will do better for jazz and oldies.

Oh, forgot about DT770pro, they are pretty good too. Check it out.

- Your rig - PC and Android phone(Sony Ericsson Xperia X8)
- What type of usage - Music and Gaming
- File format used in your source - MP3,FLAC
- Genre of music you listen to - A wide range
- Headphone/ earphone type - In ear or ear clip
- Other requirements (if any) - Should be quite durable as I'm bringing along everywhere and below RM100 if possible.

I previously bought Sonic Gear Nano Plug but they don't work well with my Xperia so I'm currently looking for one that fully works with my Xperia.

- Headphone/ earphone type: IEM

current in mind=
1. Brainwavz M1
2. ATH CKM55 (used)
3. Soundmagic PL50 (can stretch abit budget)
4. any others?

I'd say M1 is the most balanced IEMs among those u stated. Or stretch abit go for M2/M4, they are better.

Sennheiser CX 300 Headphones to Razer Moray better?
*
If u seriously want to do comparison between them, I would say CX300 as Razer is a gaming brand, they are not made for music-listening purpose. Actually u have much more choices, CX300 only sounds so-so to me. Check the reply i posted previously for some recommendations in that price range.

Hello guys,

I used to listen to beautiful songs with my Head direct RE0 but now I can't anymore because one of the ear bud is missing.

I was using the double layer one, the single layer ones would fit too deep into my ear and it hurts.

So I would like to replace the ear buds, anybody know where I can source a spare? Or suggest a better ear bud
*
I'm pretty sure u meant bi-flanged ear tips instead of ear buds, that will be confusing because ear buds are another very different thing. As for the ear tips, u can try to contact Jaben's walabies/yuheng and see if they carry any of them. smile.gif

I would suggest u Future Sonic Atrios M5, they are really good in bass. Or even the Radius DDM, provided u can get a good fit with that.

Hi guys,

- Rig: Mbox2/Laptop
- What type of usage: Mixing, mastering and monitoring.
- File format used in your source: Wav or mp3
- Genre of music you listen to: Any
- Headphone closed type

Budget below RM 900 and two headphone on my mind is M50 and DT770
Currently I'm using HD215
*
DT770 or SRH940, far ahead of M50 IMO. M50 is more to entry-level headphones, they sound good to any genre of music, but not excel in anything. Not to mention it is quite uncomfortable due to the pleather pads and tight-clamping.
