thumbup.gif  ok get you man.
SGX-series and Adreno series, I might possible get SGX too if possible,
for the SGX543 on ipad 2, currently the "best" gpu. lolz.
but i really like mali400. T_T
S2. lolz, why you so expensive.

wait, I should said, SAMSUNG why you give M'sia S2 with texus processor ~ T_T
*
Wow. That's a News for me. M'sia S2 not A9 with mali???

Ok, I get you...
Correction. It's Texas Chipset instead of Exynos. Same processor, different GPU. Both still using A9. I thought you can find Non-G version in the market?

Eh, see where you are? papago no need use data plan, so it's about the gps within it.
within building sure take long time as gps can't target you.
if outside, normally within 1-3minutes.
for me, I use speed view pro which help me track and lock gps, when it lock only i on papago,
so around 1-2minutes then can use dy.
Ms'a non-G version is exynos and mali400, G-version is the sxxk texas chipset.
can, second hand lo. XD lolz

wrong, A9 is just a concept how you  build it, it's different processor.
1.2Ghz dual core Exynox 4210 and mali 400. ---> I9100
1.2Ghz dual core TI OMAP4430 and PowerVR540(@300mhz). --->I9100G

but i9100 is better than i9100G, google yourself then you know.

No no you're wrong.

Exynos 4210 and OMAP4430 are SoC names. SoC consist of CPU and GPU. Cortex A9 is the CPU, Mali 400/SGX540 is the GPU. Now this time you're the one that should Google.

QUOTE
General Description
Exynos 4210 is a system-on-a-chip (SoC) based on the 32-bit RISC processor for smartphones, tablet PCs, and Netbook markets. Exynos 4210 provides the best performance features such as dual core CPU, highest memory bandwidth, world's first native triple display, 1080p video decode and encode hardware, 3D graphics hardware, and high-speed interfaces such as SATA and USB.
Exynos 4210 uses the CortexA9 dual core, which is 25% DMIPS faster than the CortexA8 core. It provides 6.4GB/s memory bandwidth for heavy traffic operations such as 1080p video en/decoding, 3D graphics display, and native triple display. The application processor supports dynamic virtual address mapping. This feature will help the software engineers to fully utilize the memory resources with ease.

Believe me. I'm E&E major laugh.gif

Looking at the spec also I know non-G is better than G but you need to know that SGX540 is a few years old GPU. Amazing how it can still hold up to perform well enough after OC. Of course, not as good as Mali but it still does job well.

Btw, don't forget Galaxy Nexus also using very same GPU, on a OMAP 4460 SoC

So this is the one
http://www.samsung.com/global/business/sem...10&xFmly_id=229
Cortex A8, exynos 3110 SoC is already designed for 1080p. No single core chipset from Qualcomm does this.

Anyway, googling and found this
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NovaThor
NovaThor Chipset, macam Exynos 4210 in disguise, will be powering Nokia Windows phone. Pretty interesting.

ok. I'm not pro in E&E  tongue.gif .
but about google-ing, I meant for knowing which 1 is better.
people tried, and comment. just sad samsung change i9100 to i9100G,
no wonder price drop from 2099 to 1899, LOLZ.

my friend use galaxy notes and S2, he prefer S2 and said galaxy notes bit laggy.
lolz.

Really? Personally played S2 and Notes at Samsung SEP. Both works really smooth, no lag at all to me. Note is pretty amazing due to its extremely large screen. 5.3" but I can use it one handed. Pretty insane tongue.gif
I just don't understand why Honeycomb tabs by Samsung are lagging even in home UI, to my eyes. Even the 7.0 Plus with Exynos (A9, Mali) also lagging while scrolling from one screen to another. S2 should be the perfect size, right for a phone. 7.7 is right for a tab. Note, somewhere in between is very weird. I can use it one handed but can't sleek it into my pocket.

My friend flashes his Nexus S like no other but data never gone due to titanium backup. SO hope that it would work without rooting. Apparently not. doh.gif doh.gif doh.gif

i use mybackup pro backup. well, titanium backup work on non-root phone?
anyone try?

Titanium backup backups everything including Apps. How about mybackup pro? Titanium backup require root access. Won't work without rooting.

So I googled and found that Mybackup pro does backup apps too. Then... what bother you to factory reset it? tongue.gif

In terms of synthetic benchmarks the Galaxy S Plus is way ahead of the original 1GHz-running Galaxy S. Using the 1.4 GHz Qualcomm MSM8255T Snapdragon chipset, the retail version of the Galaxy S Plus outperformed the original Galaxy S in almost every benchmark we ran. It only fails to prevail in the GPU benchmarks where its outdated Adreno 205 falls short of the PowerVR SGX540 in the Galaxy S.

@.@ 540 @ 200MHz also pawn 205

-- OUT TOPIC --

Just lepakking with my friend and he just bought IP4S from DIGI for RM2099 with package RM90 permonth 3gb data. But between SGS2 and IP4S which is better?
*
The answer, 100% user dependent.
Spec wise, they're quite sort of on par. It's up to whether you're iOS fellow or Android fellow.
Comparing stock (no JB, no rooting), Android got more free apps with more functionality to play with. However, Android UI is still sluggish when compared to iOS ~100% lagless.
Anyway, I think iP4s is too expensive for me. Android priced much lower because there are many brands but Apple is the sole brand for its own iOS.

Many other factors you need to consider
1) Price Point
2) Screen size and resolution 4.3" SGSII or 3.5" iP4s(retina display, extreme pixel density)
3) Apps availability
4) Overall size
5) Replaceable parts(hmm... battery, memory card(extra memory), nothing else =))
6) iOS vs Android, which one you really prefer, customization on Android or deadly but silky smooth iOS UI
7) More compatibility with external devices on Android. Unless jailbroken, Apple only allows sharing with their own devices. For me it's important, bluetooth which I'm using with my phone now. Hassle free to transfer pictures here and there, backup on PC or sharing with friends
8) Siri. Do you really love talking to a girl controlled by AI? It's really cool, ONLY IN iP4S. blush.gif
9) who wanna add in, feel free to add in. It's time to get off my laptop laugh.gif

Hmm... it mentioned S and Galaxy Tab which I assume is the Old Tab. There is no reason the new tabs not to get ICS. All Dual cores from Samsung I think can confirm get ICS.
