Used it more than 24 hours, it will definitely last more than a day. Used Twitter, Facebook, web surfing on both 3G(U-Mobile) and WiFi(YES4G), short spurts of games (Shadowgun about 20 minutes total, Serious Sam 20 minutes total as well), listening to music on the phone as well as streaming on Google Music with screen off, and testing out Plex for Android sporadically, not to mention other non-battery-sapping activities like snapping photos/videos, eBay, PayPal, etc. Start of the day 9am 100% end of the day at 9pm just now, still have 21%.

First thing I did when I got U-Mobile package is set the limit to 500MB.

Face Unlock is really unreliable. Set mine, and then covered my mouth ninja-style, and still it unlocks the phone. Some other time, didn't cover anything but can't unlock the phone at all.

that's what I'm worrying about.. thinking of applying matte surface SP, the SP feels smoother to the touch, but it might be too much to sacrifice the screen quality.

yes, you need to sign up for any Value Plus Internet plan but no contract period bind. there is FAQ in their facebook page.

If Apple can do it with accessories out before the phone launches, wonder why Samsung can't do it. Hell, in Apple's case, the accessories kinda hints to what the next model of iPhone looks like. Sigh......

they are a bit different in button placements... but most cases will still work for the 4S

Look at the picture of that extended battery. Nobody's asking to buy ANOTHER battery, I'm talking about buying AN/ONE/SATU extended battery of higher amperage and use only one in the phone without the need to swap, to get through your day. If my plural in that "batteries" comment what made you think I meant swapping, that wasn't the intention.

Again, if SME can't afford to bring in many, bring in as little as 1% of the projected sales figure of the phone for the number of accessory. Phone projected to sell 1000 units, bring in 10 leather pouches, 10 extended batteries, 10 desktop docks. Hell, bring in 5 each if you're that restricted in capital. Don't tell me at least 5 out of 1000 buyers of the phone are not interested in official accessories? Are these buyers already entrenched in their dogmatic view that "cheaper is always better" mantra when it comes to accessories, or *gulp* "only got money to buy phone only"? Has things turn THAT bad?

Then again, I saw post somewhere in the Galaxy Note thread pointing towards a USD25 price on eBay for that very same official Samsung leather pouch and that forum member posted it claimed it to be "expensive", so I wouldn't be surprised if that is the case. Tsk tsk tsk. 

WTF! Ego? Does making business sense makes me egotistical? I'm not asking everyone to get the accessories, I'm asking Samsung to make it available locally here so that those who wants to get one, gets to inspect it, try it if it is suitable for them before making the plunge to purchase. Some of these accessories are on the "need to see " basis before purchasing, not everything you can just simply just buy without looking at it personally first.

That 1% is for those who wants to get proper official accessories, as opposed to the other 99% who are content with their boring gel, silicon and TPU generic cases. How is that ridiculous?

come'on, don't be so stupid. Not everyone wants to buy shoddy third party cheap stuff to cover their expensive investment. A premium investment needs premium insurance, you don't protect your expensive BMW with Ah Long car insurance do you?

Ordering online also comes with its own dangers and cost. Items getting lost, seller not trustable on eBay, sales tax at originating country slapped onto the purchase, not to mention the risk of being held at customs and taxed again here. Having it being made available here, eliminated all these problems, price them appropriately for local market, and you, the end user, gets a chance to look at it, inspect it, and try it before you buy it. How is that not a good thing?

this has nothing to do with ego, and everything to do with common sense. From your post, you seem to lack the latter, not to mention quick to assume too.

It's yellowish to me as well.
On some LCD screen, true white is never white.
Maybe it's because they are using different panel then those cheap TN panel LCD screen?

I have a HTC Rhyme that uses S-LCD, which white is very bright and very "white", compare to AMOLED series.
And I notice the same thing on my old Samsung 173P monitor as well.

Any LCD panel expert care to explain? Anything to do with SRGB color gamut? To achieve more gamut, they have to down tune white?

Samoled characteristic is blueish NOT yellowish. Blueish = normal...Yellowish = defect

i have similar problems, but mine is horizontal not vertical. Only visible when viewing grey colour background.
