just tested ice cream sandwich and i can say it is perfect.

- the animation is smooth and steady like windows phone
- the looks, the sharpness and the color overall have improved a lot. they are just noticeably prettier than previous android
- it's easy to navigate, unlike previous android. while we are okay with the current android, just try give the phone to your mom and dad (if they havent use android before), and definitely they won't find it easy to use. but this all has changed now. now menus are clear and user will know if there is any submenu or sub sub menu.

i can say android 4.0.1 takes some of the good things in ios and windows phone 7.5 and enhance it to make a better android.

well regarding RRP and when this device will be available in our market,
i cant say the exact info, but i can say it's cheaper than the other samsung phone that just released and it's coming date is just around the corner. however it will be exclusive under telco

How to hard reset GNexus?
Hold down both volume button + power button, and then select recovery mode? But after this, my phone shows an Android Robot lying down with a Red exclamation sign on top of him. How long should i wait?

THe horizontal lines are HARDWARE based...not software. A screenshot wont show you the "banding" of the screen.  What you see there is just the apps background wallpaper with lines.

Just give u an example, lets say you have a dead pixel on your screen. You take a screenshot using ur phone, however this will not show the dead pixel as it is your screen problem.

Thanks for the info, now i have made up my mind to flash to Yakju build as suggested by jujx. Do I need to backup my current phone firmware etc?(Sorry, I dono wht to backup coz im new to flashing android). So that when I want to claim warranty, I can unroot it and send it back to them without them knowing?

honestly i dont think you will ever need to flash back to yakjuyx. at least not for warranty purpose

But is there a way to store my current firmware? Just in case..u know. Does nandroid back up my current non yakju build?

Do all of your GNexus have horizontal/Vertical lines on the screen? (aka Screen Banding). Mine has it and it is anoyying me even though only visible with dark grey background colour.

well i nvr really like this amoled technology despite its vibrant color and all. This tech seems to have a difficulty to achieve certain quality consistency. My first android phone HTC Desire amoled had that pink tint issue, and a colleague of mine had even worse pink tint than my unit. Now i am thinking to upgrade from my Desire to GN, and the screen still has some niggling issues.

Well yeah u might get used to it overtime, but to this date it still haunts me a bit when i think i spent so much for a highend phone (then), and i am about to fork out money for the GN, and i might get a less than desirable screen.
