I see a lot of ppl using these 5v 1amp charger to charge their handphone. or some of them even use the ipad 2A charger to charge the phone.

Just a word of reminder: Plz don't do that so often unless you confirm that your battery can sustain such high current. Else, it'll only damage your battery(shorter life span) or even worst case if the protection circuit goes wrong, explosion  might happens.

Or any1 can confirm that our handphone battery can sustain such high current charging ?

Hi, I read from earlier in the thread that there is no import duty on mobile phones and I will just have to obtain a SIRIM permit which costs RM100 to clear it if it gets held up at the customs. How do I go about obtaining the permit?

Also, has anyone bought their Nexus from Clove UK? Did you have to pay any import taxes? I've read on the FedEx website that FedEx does not charge any additional fees in obtaining the required import licenses, permits or other documents (link).

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

so any battery related n performance review is based on this ROM

updraded to GNex since ARHD is supporting this device and really love his ROM since i use it on my Desire HD

how can i check how much current is charging my phone?
since i have a car charger that gives output 2A
my samsung charger give output of 1A
my htc charger give output of 1A
and my clerk's charger give output 0.7A

Well, the Clove Nexus has 2 years of warranty and from what I understand from their FAQs is that I can "contact the manufacturer and book it in for repair" which I should think means there's some sort of international warranty. And it's cheaper than Directd.

Thats true..btw i have check my set..it from france..how bout ur set..and 1 more question did we need root for install .apk games in to our gnex

some mentioned that XXKK6 sip the battery more compared to XXKK1 ..is it true? i think im having bad signal indoor (i.e KLCC) and poor wifi (1-2 bar with router outside the room) but still running with full DL/UL speed 5MBs unifi ..bit weird.
