and again... how did they get out?
*
You asking me? tongue.gif

Anyway mine went missing when my aquarium lid was open and the woodbark extended from the substrate to the opening. Two baby scorps from the litter 40 my female scorp gave birth to escaped. But that was a long time ago and If they did survive, they would be giants by now..... sad.gif

Hmmmm...(Reminded of incident) cry.gif

Actually all including the mother died. Mom was the first to go as it was eaten alive by fireants vmad.gif . I have a vengeance against them.....

Babies died one by one for no apparent reason. In the end the only 2 survivors went M.I.A..... sad.gif

Won't you guys feel nervous when your scorpion went missing? I wont sleep peacefully until i found it >.<
*
Well Im not too worried if its an Asian Forrest scorp. A "black light" would greatly help in your search for the missing scorpion.

hEY nzx,

don't wish for it...Scorpion(AFS) wouldn't be as severe as a Tarantula Bite. Then again if you're allergic, it WILL kill you.....

Antitdote not available like in AMERICA or AUSSIE. Normally the PRO pet handlers or the researchers will have this stock in their first aid. I think the first thing to do after being tagged is to try and squeeze out the blood from the bite area then rush ASAP to the hospital/clinic. Oh ya and identify the animal that bit you.....

but just emperor or AFS got venom??
i din know bot that wor..
huh.gif
*
If its the case of emperors and AFS....they tend not to sting you but to pinch more often. If these scorpion sp. do bite you, you need not worry too much as their venom is mild. The way to gauge the toxicity of the scorpion venow is to see if the specimen has big or small pincers. The bigger pincer scorpion uses more pincers than sting to catch and kill its prey by overpowering it. You better be wary of the small pincer sp. like the desert scorpions and especially the 'deathstalker' which someone was selling here earlier. They use their venom to kill as their pincers are small......and you'll definetly feel the affects of the venom.....and it kicks in pretty fast.... sweat.gif

Its it doens't kill your scorpion first. Anyway If it is indeed food then its one hell of an expensive way to feed your scorpion....

Hi Scorpions lover..
some pics of our T's taiko choloelew scorpion with baby on her back.
user posted imageuser posted image
The time we saw it, the male scorpion still in the same container.
So after separate him from their child, we thought that only 3 babies is borned.
But actually more babies is being layed after that.
*
Yeah, they won't give birth to so few. At least 30+. The trick is keeping them alive. My scorp gave birth to 48 but all died after a week plus....

Anyway if you free in Kulim then let me know.....then maybe you can bring me go jalan jalan.... notworthy.gif
