i got 2 B. Jacksoni, 2 C. Exicaulada(is that how u spell it), 2 imperators, 2 t. falconesis, and a A. australis. lol...the australis came free with the bulk. jacksoni gravid, exicaulada gravid, imperators cannot tell...will post picts soon...

anyways. zoe u should put lids on all the scorpion tanks. even if they cant climb it, but then, just in case. they're escape artists. u wont belive what they can do in order to get out. seriously. accidents happen. u cant blame us for being like this. the thing is, we dun really care if u end up 6ft under(sorry) but then, when u're 6ft under, u gonna get this hobby in deep shit. unlike tarantulas, some scorpions envenomation can result in death. the nearest anti venin is in thailand. go figure. well, to me is like, if you're sure, then why not? but for the sake of some experiance, get an AFS or a AES first. i wont say any of us here has any experiance worth mentioning, i got stung my a H. longimanus before. its not a nice experiance at all...

mistakes like escapes or so, like one of the forummers experianced before is a result of poor management & carelesnest. lucky its only an AFS. with an LQ or AA, you're putting not only ur self in danger. but whoever that u stay with in danger also.

someone mentioned that they dun like AFS coz they grow big, LQ's grow up to 6-7cm mind u. correct me if i'm wrong, AA goes up to 6-7cm also rite?

and one more thing, not that we said you gonna kill the scorp, but then, AFS's easy to keep. just get a couple of babies to keep & see first. then only try other spp. handling scorpions? hmm...i'm sure if u google, u can find a lot of pictures of some people handling their LQ's. & personally i know a dude in malaysia that handles AA bare hand. like we've mentioned, its up to perfences....
