Currently UM hav roaming agreement with Celcom 2G network (GSM), meaning you can use Celcom's 2G network to roam, be it Voice or Data.

FYI, UM hav signed a roaming agreement with Maxis recently, how will they share the roaming network is not disclosed yet.

Bro, can you recommend a prepaid plan for one that doesn't call and sms often but need data plan and long validity, I'm considering the Umobile UMI plan, is there any better plan ?

Thank you.

For Long validity , XOX is good but its Data plan is not so impressive as its Data Plan @ rm38 for 1GB is a bummer

The best value for money Data Plan currently is the 1DG MNP @ rm18 for 1GB and now you can opt for the latest 4G LTE simcard [ unsure when 4G LTE will be activated into Prepaid Data Plan though ~ but atleast you are 4G Ready with this simcard ] Validity wise, you need to topup monthly to subscribe to the data plan, hence you get active validity in the process.

Seems like 1DG MNP is the better one for me, is the monthly renewal of the plan RM18 do include 30 days validity for call/sms as well ?

If its under Personal Individual name, it should be no problem.
