well, reasonably gud 1st impression then.. but im more interested in comments from actual owners, especially fuel consumption.. hows the cvt coping up in terms of FC??

well, im sorry if my queries seems stupid, but this is my 1st time in this thread, so im not really sure how u guys work.. looks like bombarding people is the way 2 go here.. ok, point noted.. n as the issues wit my stars, i earned em by being polite n nice as i possibly can, discussin sumthin as a FORUM shud, not juz firing people n then being as sarcastic as hell juz becoz u hate the opposition carmaker.. let me tell u sumthin, i love cars.. i dont really care the make or model, thats y i hangout in FnF, 2 be around other car lovers. i dont discriminate anybody, not by wat type of brand of car they drive, whether i like or not.. yes, i drive a myvi eric, but u dont see me go around giving terrible comments bout saga.. 2 me, 2 each his own.. u choose 2 buy a particular make or model 4 ur very own reasons, nobody has the rite 2 discriminate that rite of urs.. n even if i happen 2 give other forummers a piece of my mind, i surely would apologize n give probable juztifications 4 my action. being a saga newby, i thought we could juz blend in n discuss stuff bout this budget sedan which i think is a very gud buy btw.. im juz asking coz a dear bud of mine is gettin one, never expect people around here 2 be so rude n inconsiderate.. 2 be truthfully honest, i was really shocked 2 read these comments, as i was asking my questions in a very polite n nice manner.. so sad, people these days r so, how shud i put this in a nicer way, 'un-nice'..

nvr thought my very innocent asking would be treated this way.. i thought by asking real owners of the cvt would fruit better understanding 2wards the gb of the car.. well, have 2 be skeptical, as its the 1st time proton's offering cvt in their car.. ok then guys, understood.. thnx very much 4 all the help, especially the TS..

the old FC was indeed bad, thats y wanna know hows the cvt doin 2 tackle this?? i asked earlier coz u cant really trust wat they stated in the brochures, especially regarding FC.. so from my experience, this sort of matter is best answered by real owners.. thats all, id say my queries were pretty much harmless..

Added on January 1, 2012, 4:34 pmactually he wanted a 2nd hand myvi (the non lagi best), but i suggested him 2 get a new saga instead.. he wants an auto, so the cvt is the only option, or not i wouldve recommended him 2 take a manual.. becoz i see that a car wit a proper boot suits his purpose more.. hes a normal driver, n it would be his 1st car..

sensibly?? not sure, hes the worst driver ive encountered, as in not gud at all.. thats y most of the time he never drives, nobody ever lets him

same sorta figure as LB myvi.. thats ok i guess.. cant wait 2 test his car, coz ive never really had much experience wit cvt's.. the only cvt ive driven b4 was a short drive of a jazz couple of yrs ago..

N me being honest as well, sumthin being sensitive is not a reason 4 u guys 2 bash someone, especially if the sensitive thing is infact the achilles heel of said subject. So, the logic is, if sumthings bad, dont talk bout it??? See how ludicrous that logic is?? Im sori, i juz dont think its rite that way, hence y i was displeased when i was bombarded earlier becoz of that..

I perfectly understand that, but id say the appropriate n considerate thing, is juz 2 tell it nicely. Like i said, im new 2 this thread. Besides the flx cvt is relatively new, so i figured that asking wiuld be better. Sori i was wrong. Ive countered quite a no of other threads asking sumthin thats been asked repeatedly, n most of em didnt bombard noobs. Thats y i was really surprised when i was treated that way. But hey, lets not further this anymore. Like u said, its a new yr, so lets juz bury the hatchet.

On another topic, i really do hope that proton would put a cvt into the persona as well. But i very much doubt they will..

i agree on that.. When it comes saga owners comments, the word 'turtle' always somehow manage 2 appear in the cnversation. I own a myvi, yes, but those of u who knows me well around here, knows that im a big supporter of proton too. So no bias round here. Thats y when i said i agree on wit megat here, it is no way anythin 2 do wit the fact that i own a myvi.

hows the sound quality of the standard setup?? coz in any perodua i go into, they have this terrible stereo, which 2 me, isnt tolerable at all..

nope.. but u have 2 admit, that somehow the myvi bashing is really nasty in here.. thats all im trying 2 point out.. like i said, i could be wrong, but through my observation, i think i have a point..

i guess its much better than a perodua sound system then.. but even if its not gud, its much better 2 mod than a myvi too..
