Thats why sometimes during convoy, I also concerned with the driver behind me whether his car can brake as efficient as mine or not. And I also have to adjust my braking force, cant too hard nanti confirm the one behind will rear end me, but cant too little, nanti I rear ended the one in front pulak.

why not go one round drag test with eric (after he fix his bumper) . Find your peak power band on the rev and maintain it. On paper, there's already difference. unless eric already has some goodies under the hood.

if you're mentioning the slowness is the response on immediate pedal, or the rev moves faster than speedo, then i cannot say much lah. Based on my personal drive and chasing with a CVT car in urban traffic, it's fast and it's no easy task to follow it even when it's an auto vehicle. Unless proton screws up the CVT TCU.

Nothing to fix bro biggrin.gif

if that so.. if for the performance n fuel icon_question.gif ? ?

Harder tires (GoodYear Assurance FuelMax), can deliver better FC, but at the expense of worse handling.

Softer tires (Michelin PilotSport3), has better comfort and handling, but wears out faster and may not have optimum FC delivery.

Your choice.

Kapar, Klang

Rims depending on design and rubber usually ard RM 190-200/pcs. So lets say if you take a rim price ard 800, plus 190 x 4 = 760, so 760 + 800 = 1560. Trade in the current rims and tyre, that should bring down the price to around 1160 to 1360.

But then, cheap price doesn't comes with good service. And if you want to walk in to ask price, be prepared to be ignored. lololol.
*
Depends heavily on the type of rubber too

hey, any of u owns an flx executive cvt 1.3?? juz wanna get reviews from real owners.. wat r ur experience wit the car?? most importantly, any comments bout the cvt gearbox??

Short review of the Saga FLX

Well, firstly, i'd like to thank the owner of the flx for allowing me to test drive the car for some 50km. that distance allowed me to gauge the car relatively well.

from the outside, the biggest difference would be the Elegant Brown colour. darker than the Cafe Latte light brown it replaces, this seems to suit the car better, giving it a more matured look. from the back, the SAGA FLX badge is more upmarket/premium than the Saga FL, due to the badge material and thickness. to the untrained eye, the front of the flx is just like any other FLs on the street, but upon closer inspection, (only for the CVT model) you would notice a gearbox cooler at the right hand side of the grille, just beside the proton badge.

on to the performance. the moment you press the throttle and get the car moving, the first thing that occured to me is the smootheness and quietness of the ride. the engine is mostly quiet when below 3500rpm or so, but beyond that, it does get somewhat whiny. the cvt, imho, is a very good choice to mate the campro, because it elimates almost (if not all) of the (minor) torque dip that the normal 4sp auto has. the flx seems to have oodles of power. you dont have to rev hard to get it moving, and when it does get moving, the speed climbs at a somewhat alarming rate. compared to my manual BLM, this one reaches 110km/h and beyond without myself noticing. maybe its the single speed nature of the cvt, that gives the impression that its fast. on paper, proton quotes a 0-100 time of 13 seconds, but in real life, it definitely feels faster. so dont get surprised that you may get a few speeding tickets if you're heavy footed.

as a conclusion, i dare say that the cvt transforms the saga flx into a more upmarket car. and the upcoming 1.6 FLX? i cant wait.
