Anybody tried to charge their phone using the usb port yet? I just found out that it is possible to do so. But already bought Belkin Usb Charger, now i feel like partially idiot.

Today a dodgy looking man in Proton uniform approached me when I parked my car at my housing area (USJ Subang) and the following conversation took place:

Dodgy Proton Man: Does this vehicle belongs to you?

Me: Yes. May I know why?

Dodgy Proton Man: Is this a new car?

Me: err *slightly smile to acknowledge the statement*

Dodgy Proton Man: This car is very easy to open & stolen... have you installed the metal thinggy at the doors?

Me: Owh those metal stuff... yeah I read about it (realizing he is some sort of salesman now..)

Dodgy Proton Man: Would you like to fix it? You could pay me RM50 1st and pay the remaining balance by tomorrow or when you have gotten ur salary.

Me: Err no thanks.. yeah I know how vulranable our local cars are... dont worry about it, I'll get that fix soon

Dodgy Proton Man: Its very cheap... theres a guy around your area who just fixed it (shows me the receipt). You should fix it too... can pay me later, now i fix for you

Me: No thanks.. dont worry I understand... thank you

Dodgy Proton Man: *smiles and walks into a car parked opposite direction which i didnt notice who has another driver who didnt wear any proton uniform.. look like some 3rd party mechanic/installer.

So anyone encounter this before? Closest scenario I found was at BLM forum where a salesman claiming from Proton selling some alarm thinggy. Is this common? LOL

When I try to start it 1st time just now it started but it was shaking like MT car not enough fuel engine almost die, so I turn off and start again same case so I press a bit fuel then it died. Then can't start anymore, long dragging starter sound. Any ideas?

Hi all, i need a favour from all FLX 1.3 drivers here.
Is there anyone who has white lights instead of orange for the meter combi backlight? I noticed my friend's FLX came in white instead of orange. Also, the shift panel on the gear knob has lights too. Can any FLX driver confirm? Thanks!

why proton don't want to pair CVT wit turbo?

Hey Guys, im new here and I've been a silent reader for almost a month now. I've recently gotten my Saga FLX (Manual) White not long ago. I have a few questions to ask all the Sifus here if you dont mind.

1st. What is the usual millage u get from a full tank with a manual flx? Mine clocked in at about 360. Is this normal?

2nd. I have a budget of about rm800-900 and im looking into some basic mods. Air filters? Strut bars? Body Kits? Which one should I go for first?

3rd. Will changing the air filter void my warranty?

4th. Lastly, im looking to actually tinting my back lights darker in order to make it look like smoke lights mainly cuz there's no smoke lights for flx yet. Will it be ok? Or its just too ridiculous?

Well, if I go for a full bodykit made out of PU then it would probably make my car feel heavier wouldn't it? any way to counter this? Saw this one seller who sells bodykit for 799. Apparently its a year end promotion.
