[ALERT] Beware of fake batteries, Sanyo & Sony

I wonder anyone could help me solve this problem... My Sanyo 2500Mah AA battery bought from Chris_X starting to give me problem. Charge cycle less than 100 times. After charging, left it for about 1 to 2 days... When i use it... It shows only 1 bar of battery level instead of 4 or 3 at least.
Does this battery will quickly self discharge after fully charge? |

There seems to be manufacturing problem with sanyo 2500's (originals tat self discharge damn fast). Mine also affected. One week left idle, can't even on my kodak digicam. It doesn't even have juice to flash the red LED indicator for "useless battery"

Oh crap..... What can we do? Does Chris_x aware of this problem?
Does 2300mah battery affected by this? Now i end with 6 peices of 2500Mah with timebomb..... |

Chris_x is not selling fake units... What i found out from greatworld who use to sell Sanyo battery even now.... Even is much cheaper. During 2004 production batch. There is defective on it. I guess i bought mine from Chris_x during 2004 production that has this problem. Current new batch seems to be working find and sanyo has resolve the issue.
BTW, for the tip. Use only Sanyo charger to charge 2500Mah battery as it uses special substance battery. |

arghhhhhhhhh, i just won a bid for a sony charger and batteries 2 days ago and rec'd it today via pos laju, and now after reading and checking out on it, ITS FAKE! arghhhhhhh, i won the bid by 46 bux and hell i tot was so darn cheap, coz I saw ori sanyo charger wif 2 AAA batteries was around 70 bux, kena con liao, dunno able to get back a refund from the fella, and YES from lelong.com.my, are we able to complain to lelong's admin about this?
last word, ARGH! Realli if u get cheap thing, beware! No free lunch in this world! |

i think for original one they will stamp some serial number or manufacture date on the battery which is not printed one
for my energizer one got stamp some serial number on it |

i work in lab and there is the scale to measure up to 3 angka perpuluhan, i found out that 2100 NiMH is 27.9-28.0 g

Anyone ever try this battery??  I did.. Its different from other fake batteries, low stamina, quite light I already have this DD Shager at RM75 for 24pcs. I use it with my DC Canon A40, believe or not, it can take 230 shots.. ha..hah.. same as GP2300Nimh. I don't know whether its fake or not, the batteries look fine built. Yeah..yeah I know, the packing look cheap. Don't buy SONY and SANYO batteries in Lelong.com.my, all fake  . I don't know what to do with my 24pcs fake Sony batteries, but can still use with wall clock & remote  . |

Hello ,
Last month i purchased 3800mah sony batteries and i have 12 of them,after reading this thread i guess i have been conned.Bought it here and also at lelong and all the batteries can't be charged at all ! So you guys please don't be carefull but please don't buy it! Should report it to Kementerian? |

Panasonic battery also got fake.... mine is 2800mah.... but only can take Max 10 pic.... then battery flat.
