how to identify fake sanyo batteries:


1. Look at the colour of the background. The left hand is original sanyo battery. the right hand side is fake sanyo battery. The fake one will have yellowish on the background instead of pearl white


2. Look carefully at the "MODEL HR-3U 1.2V" font. the left is original sanyo. the right side is fake sanyo battery. The fake one the font is a little bit compressed instead of bold font and the font side is a smaller for the fake battery


3. look carefully for all the font. The left is original sanyo and the right side is fake sanyo battery. if you look carefully,the font used in fake sanyo is different. (+) in original battery will have closer bracket (+) and fake one will have wider bracket ( + )


4. don't be fooled by the HR stamp on the bottom of the battery. left side is original sanyo and right side is fake sanyo. the font for HR is different on fake and original. fake one will have bigger font size and original will have smaller font size. and you can see the bottom of the battery,the diameter is different. orignal will have bigger diameter and fake one have smaller diameter


5. another clear pic


and original sanyo will have emborsed manufactured date. refer picture number 3. you will see a dark cop on it

In this picture, the word [minimum] on the fake one look a bit weird, and the word [R] in the [RECHARGEABLE] is on top of the (+) sign, where as the original one is a bit left hand side over the (+) sign. . .

and remember...Sanyo Super Charger: NC-MQHO1N-WEX-SS comes with 4xAA 2500mAh battery and not 2xAA 2500mAh

so don't get cheated by anyone who selling you with 2x2500mAh batteries only.

the original will have pearl white background which looks like metalic paint. you can refer pic 1.
and fake 1 will have dull yellowish background

for fake batteries. 2pcs is worth only RM10 or below

saw somebody else posted in lelong that ori battery will have 'HR' stamped on the bottom of the battery...

the fake 1 also have HR on the bottom

Look at the first picture. The fake Sanyo would have a small groove on the top part of the battery, a part where the diameter is smaller

aaaa... i seee.... so the fake one would also hv HR stamped on it... but still.. ori HR font is cuter.... so now i know all my 24 sanyo batt is oreee.... hahahhaha...

seems like the ori and the fake one cant be tell by just looking at it coz only very little smalllllllllllll diff between them.... u cant really judge by just looking at them coz they come in a seal package rite?

so i believe the only way to tell ori or not is the manu date stamped on the batt itself correct?

I just read this post in the bulk sale section. Are you making all these statements by own observations or you have official or validated information from proper channels?

I just checked the net on the WEX charger, I can't find a charger with 4x2500AA. Perhaps it's a different packaging for that model. I will also request a verification from my supplier on the statements you have made. Update soon.

What is the retail price for the Original 2500 ones?IT shouldn't be cheap because it is 2500 power with new technology.

If what you said is true, the last 2 batches I bought (12 batteries with chargers) are all fake! LOL!
