That tweak have been around for quite some time already. I have always implemented it in all the rom i used and most chef also uses it. Even kernels like siyah are putting it in their tweaks. No harm having it but not sure if it really helps.

Batista may not have it in his rom but does abyss kernel implement it ... brows.gif

My phone charging last night was already 46C.

Please be informed that this is BATTERY TEMP. Not CPU or other hardware temperature. Our device and most device got no CPU temp sensor. Your batt temp maybe high especially charging or heavy usage (such as games or antutu) but only because we are drawing lots of current to/from the batt. It has nothing to do with your cpu usage or overloading the cpu.

So this temp can only be an indication and cannot be totally trusted if you want to protect the cpu.

Do you have some apps or power saving feature that switch it off. Cos by default it would always stay on.

Were you using it? Are you sure no wakelock? If wifi and data off my device in idle will only drop 1% in 3 hrs.

If the power button is pressed for >10s the phone switch off. Is your pocket too tight tongue.gif or are you using a casing that is pressing too much on the power button?

What rom you are using? Could it be caused by some apps your using? I don't have any reboot / hang problem so it is not normal.

No idea if it is caused by apps. You can try uninstalling apps one at a time from the latest to try and identify if there is a culprit. Still think the shutdown is caused by accidental pressing of the power button since it only happen in your pocket.

First make sure you can see those contacts (menu > more > display option). Then press menu > delete and select those that you want to delete.

Never had this problem with sms backup and restore and I lost count of the number of times i used it.

Have you set your contacts to show first name first?

Hehe. Extract the zimage files out only few secs + flash zimage with cwm app only time for 1 reboot give 2 mins + reflash root kernel zimage with cwm app only time for 1 reboot give 2 mins only mah.

Just do it once. Then after that just use CWM / mobile odin to flash stuff, no more yellow triangle. I have not seen the yellow triangle since my first few days using the phone and i also dunno where is my odin app gone. tongue.gif

Yeah this is true. With agps on gps status will lock for me within 5s. This is very cold lock cos just made a wipe and flash new rom. tongue.gif

aGPS will take only a few cents and only used during lock. After lock just switch off your data. You also only need to update it maybe once a week if you only use in same area like let say only KL....

aGPS need either data/wifi to work. Sensor aiding not important for locking purpose.
