Agree on the battery issue. I don't feel that the phone have poor battery life on 2.3.3. It mostly depends on the user usage. I guess 2.3.3 is the most stable for nonG stock rom. That's why we haven't got any updates compare to G version that require updates to fix certain bugs.

Just try out the phone for a few weeks first if your not happy with the battery life can always browse for custom rom smile.gif

For me, no battery issue so far.

How hot is extremely hot? Mine usually went to 50c only and that's when I was playing asphalt 6. Didn't charge while playing other games though.

I see.. btw the exclamation mark at every sentence is unnecessary.

My connection also changes between H+/H/3G even E without having to restart/re-enable my data. That's why I say I have no such problem.

Before this can received? Check your APN settings. Packet data enable or disabled while receiving the mms?

Its still a Samsung manufactured phone. Just you are getting it from different region/country. If you're concerned about the warranty, better get G version.

Why don't you just enable packet data. Set APN type to mms only if your not using data plan.

If you set the apn type to mms only you won't have problem receiving mms anymore. The data symbol will only appear when you send/received mms and only mms charges apply but packet data need to be enable.

Yes, the extended batt will add some weight to it or you can put on casing. Will not explode if charge all night.
