Since warranty had expired, no point sending back to SC as mentioned by above forumers. SC normally take cheap labour to do normal stuff like change engine oil sorta things only coz new car dun normally need major service. So for ur case, its indeed something major happening, and im sure those technicians in SC are amateurs to handle it.

There are authorized BMW and Merz centres which can hep u better on this. But for continental cars, alwis be prepared with all the heavy cash.
