I  bet no one would sell their 3820tg's, because it's too good to be used. XD

u can change ram, hdd & network card it won't void warranty but if ur lappy collapsed, acer will blame those 'thang' so for precaution just change back ori stuff b4 u claimed. if ur lappy r safe & fine, just leave it. i think should be win 7 hp x64.. u can install other OS but if not retail i suggest u stick with the ori!

u bought 2nd hand? u can just have a clean install.. go control panel > system > (check for confirmation regarding ur OS version)

don't tear.. y u need tear? just unscrew it.. the most important stuff 2 install is the windows update (install all) then don't unplug it & wait it restart..

then don't tear the sticker cos it will void the warranty..

weird! mine dell no need take off the sticker.. if really need get rid the sticker to unbutton ur lappy, u better don't risk it.

maybe just poke thru the sticker? just a suggestion, best to call acer customer service ba.

poke sticker still void the warranty. best solution is call acer.. this is y i don't prefer acer!

use acer backup manager.. be prepare 4~5 dvd disc..
