hey guys, my 4820tg touchpad suddenly stopped working. but here's the funny thing:
-i uninstalled the synaptics driver and reboot -on reboot, windows detects the touchpad and begins installing the synaptics driver. at this point, the touchpad works. -upon completion of the driver installation, i'm requested to restart. -after restart, the touchpad stops working again.
i even went to the extreme of reinstalling windows 7 (sort of a spring cleaning), but the same thing happens (even on a clean install!). any idea what's happening?
thanks!

i tried using the driver suggested by ngkhanmein, but to no avail. the problem is that the whole touchpad is not working - the cursor does not move and the buttons do not respond.
after uninstalling the synaptics driver, upon reboot, Windows will install the default driver. at this point, the touchpad works (cursor and buttons). but Windows will require a restart to complete the driver installation. so after restarting, the touchpad stops working all over again.
