Again, just because they are seniors does not mean they will perform well with other teams. Just look at Andriy Shevchenko and Hernan Crespo with Chelsea, Juan Sebastian Veron & Mateja Kezman with Chelsea. We need to give them a chance to settle before we make judgements.

When in form definitely up there with the top 5 strikers of all time. The guy didn't know how to score a shit goal. I think the aura of Anfield and the club + Benitez's tactical prowess brought the best out of him. Hmm it seems the term "Liverpool type player", doesn't resonate with everyone. Well, I'm old school in this aspect and it does with me. We all fell in love with him from the time, "his armband proved he was a Red", as pictures revealed the inscription, "You'll Never Walk Alone", underneath his captain's armband as he was still playing for Atletico. We've all bounced to the Torres bounce and we've all chanted his chant. Although I don't hate and him and understand why he left, for a "bigger" club no less, I don't agree with the manner in which he left. If you want to go, be honest and upfront about it. No one expects any player to remain with one club forever but honesty and integrity will at least ensure the fans respect your decision, and both qualities are the hallmarks of a Liverpool type player. Don't say you'll stay and leave weeks later. He says we don't know the real response left and Pepe has echoed his sentiment. So why not tell us? Why not help us understand? If you ask me, it was a career choice, pure and simple.

We know what he's capable of when he feels like playing, something he doesn't seem to be interested info late for whatever reason. If I were to put sentiment aside and look at pure ability then yes, a fit and interested Fernando Torres rivals the best strikers in the world. I cannot however put sentiment aside as it is because of sentiment that i love the club so dearly. To me it is a matter of principle. I hope to receive the explanation I feel he owes us.

I'm quite annoyed that we are linked with Keita. What the hell? Where goal poaching is a problem, we found time to think about Lucas's replacement and pack in some more midfielders. What the hell is Commolli doing? Isnt, Adam, Henderson, Spearing, Gerrard, Shelvey enough for us? With Lucas back next season, we have 6 midfielders and some of them are playing out of their position already. What will Keita do when lucas is back? Play in the left wing position?
