This lady use a kit lens... thats the hebat part.
And i believe the camera model she use cost less than what she charge on the couple.

I felt she lying a bit too but she paid usd1300 wor... thats like rm4100 here. Thats consider peanuts for a wedding shoot?
If she doesnt have a dslr knowledge like us i dont believe anyone would know which dslr is a pro grade and which isnt.

Yup i agree. The photog showed her the portfolio but the end result was not what she expected.
But 1 thing i dont understand is that u said dont compare with the convert rate. So if a person there use a 7d to shoot and get paid usd3500 (which should be the correct price as u said) then 1 wedding event and they can buy a 5d mark ii. Not bad business like that....
