hi there i.... at last i found somebody do play ping pong in kl,
is there any table tennis court nearby pj or damansara area for me to practice?
*
If PJ, you can go to Taman Paramount, there is a place for tt near Giant. Actually it is directly behind Giant. The tt training center is at 3rd floor of a shop lot. You can see there is a "Dancing School" but it is actually the tt center. A lot of experienced uncles and youngsters playing there. Cheap fee and friendly ppl there. Choo Sim Guan training ground.

If you willing to travel to Puchong, if not mistaken there is a place call Stars or some sort of name like this.. Near Puchong Jaya, but I have not been there to play before. Heard quite a number of players there too.

And PJ UTAR sports complex, near Jaya One, you can rent to play and also the rent squash court to play. There must be other places to play, but I do not know all only.

Hope this info helps. And glad to see that this tt thread still alive. thumbup.gif

Thank you.

Pj union
29-1, 3rd Floor, Jalan 20/13, Paramount Garden. 46300 PJ. Selangor

Starelite
1B, Jalan Kenari 4,Bandar Puchong Jaya, 47100 Puchong, Malaysia
*
But PJ union and Starelite is not like renting the table is it? You pay a minimal fee then you can play there for whole day. And you can play with anyone at any table too. It is not likely renting a table and play for 1-2 hours...

Thank you.

I went to PJ Union and the boss 森源 told me they only open to public on Mon, Wed and Fri from 7pm-10pm. Per entry is RM10 and monthly membership fee is RM60. Its better you bring a partner along to play.
*
Wow.... maybe they changed the charging method. Last time RM10 whole day. And Yes, monthly fee still RM60. Anyway, is better to go there with partner because if you don't know anyone there, will be a bit weird and boring. Soon, you will mixed well with them. They are quite friendly.

Thank you.

Changed from tenergy 05fx to ciom vega pro for my fh,
-less speed than tenergy (still fast btw) but more controlled
-spin sure masuk, compared to tenergy, always slightly out.
Any rubbers out there similar to xiom vega pro?
tried xiom omega iv, dun like the similar tenergy effect..
*
I used Omega III before, don't quite like it.. Hope have chance to play with Tenergy, but the price keep me away.. hahahahah..... Currently using Palia Macro Era. But I still prefer Donic Desto F1.. Anyway, anyone can recommend me some rubber which is durable and has sponge soft like Donic? The tension sponge is just too easy to break.

And anyone is free to play this week? I'm coming over to Puchong on Thursday till Sunday. Hopefully can have a some time to sweat.. Kindly pm me or reply on this thread so that we can have more player in the group to gather around. smile.gif

Thank you.

Is there Butterfly or Nittaku "original" table issue? I think you refer to club quality at that price is it?

And you price is fair and good! Pretty much the same as when I bought for my university club few years back.

Actually I prefer Challenger table as the paint is steamed on it in stead of like spray on it.. I found that the quality is better than Butterfly. I did not encounter imitation Nittaku, my table at home is around 16-year-old those flip style which need 2 person to open. Hahhahahaha... it still in good shape and I'm still playing with it now. Hopefully that the new table is as good quality as those days.

I love Thibar table. Very good quality.

Thank you.

Board Surface : COLOR , SOUND & BOUNCE  different / Metal Stand(legs) : challenger quality is like milo tin(very light)

DHS Rainbow international table need bout 6 man power to carry from ground to 2nd floor , Challenger table need only 2 ppl.

Below is my centre table tennis tables
The booster is like chemical threat on the rubber sponge to make it more tension....but it will harm the rubber as well.

Dian Chi (典驰)  booster

Nice one! Ya, your Nittaku and DHS tables are higher range one. The challenger you got there is the lower range table, of course feel like Milo tin lo... Can't compare apple with orange. But wow!!! Really like your tables!! Hahahahha... thumbup.gif

Hi, how are you K2002!! I think we played in PJ years ago, if I'm not mistaken. Lol...

I have the new-poly (non-celluloid) ball. First thing that really not getting used to is the sound!! It just like a toy/plastic ball. Very weird and irritating. The sound is sharp and loud for me. Maybe I'm not used to the sound, hopefully will get used to it soon.

I read the short review from the link you shared out. Yes, basically I have the same opinion, the ball bounce higher and bounce longer if you compare the new and old ball side by side. When you play, no doubt you will fell it bounce higher. Another thing is I feel that the ball tend to be slower a little bit. On spin wise, I'm not so sure is there any difference. I'm not a pro player, just play for fun, so the above is my own opinion and "feeling". notworthy.gif

Anyway, mid of 2014 the rules will be changes and this kind of ball will be used to replace the old one. We have to adapt to it even though the sound really really really weird. blush.gif

Thank you.

i take Bluefire series for promotion only.
normal market price : RM140.00

i will try to look for u regarding the Donic Desto F1.

Hi, I have read some of the reviews on the bluefire series. The main issue that I'm concern with is the hardness of the sponge. Is the m2 or m3 has similar sponge hardness compared to f1?

Thank you.
