Doesn't matter how you smash it, as long as it is return to opponents table you are safe, and if opponent cannot return it you score a point.
That is the principle behind it.

Hello there, I don't have Korean (Xiom) or Japanese brands of Table tennis rubbers.
Only China made and Chinese brands of rubbers like Palio, Haifu, Kokutaku 868 and Reactor.

The Xiom one that I have is from a friend, a pre-used bat selling at RM150.

Bat expensive?
Reasons :
1) Branded - Butterfly, Nittaku, Xiom etc
2) Hybrid or quality of wood - eg. carbon bats or 1-ply Hinoki wood
3) Marketing costs
4) Bats include the rubbers which are expensive for some cases, eg Butterfly Tenergy


The one from uncle's stationary store, the rubber, ho, people says "getah mati". If use will spoil your stroke.
