Yea, rather than crappy GB memory handler.
*
totally different feel from GB, like having a new phone.

flash to 12.8.15 last nite, wipe the battery stats and underclock to 1024

from 7am till now still got 80%

some phone calls and texting and data, use my phone alot for work so can't have high battery drain as i dun sit at a place to work.

What I did is flashed latest ROM releases and use the battery calibration. smile.gif
Not sure if the battery will drain fast.
Either you want to freeze it or you want uninstall it via Titanium Backup (that app comes with the ROM package so it could f up your system)
*
Now still got 14% quite good compare to when i was using broodrom. Will keep it for now untill flash again.

I think it's better to freeze the apps than uninstall it. I did freeze some unwanted apps.

Well...all ROM based on ivendor's build releases right now... laugh.gif  he is active dev besides Arco's build which is slow and steady releases.. biggrin.gif
*
from my usage, it's quite stable for day to day use.

battery life is ok too... can last me for a day for daily usage. previous GB stock and custom about 3/4 day only

thanks to them we're not stuck in GB

Mine browsing etc... sometimes having slightly lag like scrolling..zooming consider accecptable but not as your lag situation....  hmm hmm.gif

Anyway... this ICS ROM still got minor bugs not like GB 100% bug free.. super rock stable

me not looking back using GB...pretty much forward on ICS.. haha laugh.gif  wub.gif

Well...what i said before, we cannot expect this custom ICS to be as like GB super smooth n rock stable ... if Samsung never abandon us...we all have no issues ....able to received stock ICS from them

this is their marketing strategies to buy their flagship models  vmad.gif  Even thou Xperia phone got ICS support from Sony including Non flagship and flagship models like my sister using xperia neo v smile.gif

there are pro and cons between GB n custom ICS... just bear with it... icon_rolleyes.gif

lesson learn... next time buy nexus model.. supported by google personally..hehe laugh.gif
*
agreed!

but after using ICS, it feels much better than GB so i'm not gonna flash back to GB.

Ironicly,it became worse,so fast battery drain,more lag.maybe i should stick with gb roms 1st.
*
the first day of using after flashing the rom, my battery drain was high. then charge it and calibrate the battery. not it's fine. i'm on 14hours now and still got 55% left for my daily usage. previous when i was using stock with custom kernel around 10hours got only 30%.

as for those minor bugs, still better when i was using cupcake and donut.

me too..still on 12.8.15... stick to this for while...bcoz doesn't give any problem to me wub.gif  thumbup.gif
*
was using 12.8.17 before i flash to 12.8.15, feel that 12.8.15 was smoother. since the latest version using OC/UV kernel i won't be flashing it cos my phone won't boot up on OC/UV kernel

i'm always on location and sync...but i use WIFI n 3G as needed only like 1 hour morning, in evening and at night time... it will helps me prolong battery laugh.gif
*
off my sync, on the location only then set to 2G network most of the time and 3G when needed. sms keeps coming in and phone calls. i get alot of sms coming when i was working, then calls. morning from start work till end, used about 60% then i on 3G all the time till i charge it.

right now won't be changing phone anytime now since got ICS. personally i prefer this ROM to GB altho it got a few bugs here and there.

next phone i buy sure gonna be a Nexus... maybe the G Nexus

How G nexus battery life compare to GS+?

i think this we have to use it ourselves to find out as each of us have different usage. like me, i got alot of sms coming during work and was on 2G most of the time.

Btw whoever using Ehndroix 12.8.15 arco's alpha 7 base now already release new version 12.8.31 base on Arco's alpha 8 can get it at xda... flash it while still hot.. laugh.gif

Whoa.. now got many new Roms at xda...   laugh.gif

I don't experienced any lagging or whatsoever.
I don't have games installed, only social apps (FB, TW, Instagram, etc.) & other tool apps.
Also, I froze some apps.
I did tweak some for memory management.

Here's my quadrant & antutu scores:
