Go for Galaxy Nexus they got JELLY BEAN oredi but don't trade ur S+... Use S+ as 2nd phone (experimental phone).... Hehe

Hey guys, i used S+ for around 6 months, get bored of its gingerbread 2.3.5.. Recently check up, there is value pack update. After update, my phone is like?...... reboot 40 times in an hour?... 100 % battery drain up within 15~20 hours.. Anyone have this problem??

Use touch recovery or arco recovery

Arco recovery.all my roms i try to install failed(Installtion Aborted).

Play Store upgraded to 3.4.7 and it's works now!

Just chg to Touch recovery,no problems after that,just flashed to parandroidandroid ecstacy.

Just trade in my s plus n join nexus.s plus a good device,just nexus price was too tempting... sayonara guys.all the best

Go to Setting --> Applications --> Manage Applications --> All --> Google Play Store --> Uninstall updates

Then, u run again Play Store, and it will update to new version.

Suppose the latest one is 2.3.6 Gingerbread.DXLD3 (for asian rom,if u buy Original Samsung Malaysia)

Guys always keep a nandroid backup in the phone. Just for safety. And it wont take up much space, Its only around 400 or 500 mb

sure u can. but if u said ur i9001 cannot support oc kernal then its pointless if u flash a rom with oc kernal. try getting a rom which doesnt have oc kernal by default (maybe broodrom). im curious how come urs cannot support oc kernal.. unless the mobo inside is diff

Well, pretty good. Set my screen brightness below 30, off all haptic feedback, set my CPU into performance (max) and tweak the memory usage to suit the performance cpu.

yeah, pretty sure it'll drain your battery fast enough when on wifi/mobile data mode. Only switch on when in needed/ in use to save up your battery.
Well, too bad Nexus don't have microSD slot.

Im guessing yes. Every year they release new flagship phone. Last year was nexus so later this year should have another release.

Yeah. arco's build is indeed one of the best build. Ivendor's build still in beta stage so it might gets better and better maybe will even surpass arco's.
