yeap you dont need to. it is said that those apps only makes things worse. i don't know how true it is coz i dont use them.  hmm.gif

While it might be true, task killer has it benefits too, it stops those apps that cause wake lock. Usually when they say task killer drain more battery it's because certain system app will restart itself even though u force stop it, so the process of restarting takes up more battery power. U can use task killer but make sure those app that u stop aren't restarting itself, like for example Facebook has no exit option so I had to use task monitor to stop it running in the background

It's normal because more processing power are required to boost up phone performance and graphics.

My phone cannot start at all... cry.gif Just charge it for a while on the sofa... it fell between the seats... and I went out... when I got back... the screen is blank (which i presume the phone has turned off) but cannot start back at all... I do feel the phone kinda hot (maybe due to the charging between the seats).... no good ventilation....

I tried dissambling everything, charging at a different socket, using different charger, but still same.... cry.gif

My sister-in-law's Galaxy W also had this problem few months ago, but since her phone is still under warranty, they change the components for free.... my phone is way over a year now... (i just replaced my cracked screen 2 months ago for rm380)... and now this.... cry.gif

any solution guys???

Thats sad. it should be the heat that damaged the phone. i always feel that placing the phone on my bed the phone is hotter than placing it on the table when charging.

i dont think the phone temperature can "kill' the phone.maybe some other problem.

my phone was left under my pillow while a 3D game was running in the background.i came back after 30 min, it was at 55 celcius. doh.gif

if the phone is dead, i don't think a jig could do anything won't it? no harm to try though

just went back to the shop I bought originally (i went there accidentally)... and ask them how much is it to fix this problem... he seems to be an analytical dude... so he straightaway said he check it for me.... he said he will call me back today (I gave him yesterday)... but still waiting...

most games just need a fast single core processor and 512 ram.quad core is overkill.
next year if gt 8 cores, that is super overkill. doh.gif
