nothing wrong with merida. dealer network for merida in UK and US not good or non existent, thats y you dont read about it in magazines, since the magazines are all from US and UK. i dont care about brands anyways, try to go for value for money. for xc HT i would go for scott or merida, value for money full sus giant anthem or trance, should be able to enjoy 80% of the trails in malaysia already.

QUOTE(mousqy @ Dec 15 2011, 06:13 PM) for rider visibility very good, ut the projection sucks, cant see 5 feet in front, need front lights if you wanna ride above 10km/h QUOTE(xandman @ Dec 15 2011, 07:52 PM) open bike tour service, bring in foreign tourists and we guide them through our trails, maybe do epic rides (cameron, KK multiple day rides), provide everything from accommodation to bicyle packing and transport, even some sightseeing. that way we can actually do riding, not just selling products. open a bike tour and lodge on some mountain with nice trails |

QUOTE(timothyy @ Dec 15 2011, 11:06 PM) The tour thingy... we thought of it a year ago. Almost started a company to start. i no stamina liao, sure cannot guide. go kiara always endo how to guide people? I even got a group of hongkies supposedly want to come to Malaysia and get guide to tour Malaysia... The idea surely is good... We even thought of how to do the promotion and such... but one small problem... Who is "good" enough to work as a tour guide... physically & commercially. Even if you point at yourself... how many u can do? How much can 1 person make? Sustainable? He! He! He!... No worries... I am just brainstorming... Come come... more ideas... do video filming service for bike race/jamboree for organizers or for ppl to show off DH skills, can sell to local tv or as dvd. or to promote biking tourists to malaysia. or open cnc machining company, do precision components like pedals, stems, handlebars, seatpost, hubs, headset, seat clamps, QR, anodizing, and also machining and fabrication for non bike related stuff. |

QUOTE(Mike3300 @ Jan 10 2012, 09:20 PM) By the way, if you buy full wheeset from LBS they'll give you together with the studs and hubs right? The hubs can be fitted to any size for disc brakes? uhhhh studs?hubs only got centre lock or six bolt, can fit any size disc brakes. different size rotor need to change adaptor only for the brake caliper at the caliper mount. |
