who said?

i just downloaded for my 9900 and used it yesterday. quite ok, but have to be careful (for audio) when driving because get easily confused if theres too many intersection / exit.

if u can drive and see map or u have a copilot, at the same time, then no problem.

Wisepilot on 9900 is very good compared to 9780. Search fast, locks fast & does not hang. There is noticeably a big difference if maps are downloaded to device. I use 2G all the time too.
*
yes wisepilot is very light. but the tagline of 180 rgt for lifetime, its a little bit high. haha

how do u rate the free n paid maps? free is only 10%?

Yeah i agree price is high sigh.....but not much choice of GPS for BB.

Paid is 50% better, honestly on a 9900 it works well even on free maps. I'm really beginning to like it, also use a Momax it'll last longer & no re clone.
*
momax how many mAh? the reclone actually can be overcome if the os allow, but somehow, the latest os need to reclone when reboot (which i did every morning = recommended)

I agree. Momax is maybe 4 hours more than original. Pretty good quality too. Original i can do 8 hours flat on moderate use.
*
Quite good too comparing the stated capacity is only 100 to 200 mAh more than ori batt. How much for it?

I thought so too but battery is definitely more chuck-able.

Also i must say that Wisepilot works very well with 9900. Compared to 9780 it will lock very slowly. I think with 3rd party battery solution BB has a real winner with 9900 i'm really beginning to like it. Does everything well.
*
haha go crackberry got new battery double capacity, but double size too. haha they give new back cover so that the battery can fit in

I use Wisepilot on 3 of my BB-9900, 9810, 9860. Smooth as silk. I have posted some screenshots. All in one device is important to me including GPS. Wisepilot uses the BB GPS i believe.
*
haha if u paid alot of money for that one, and lousy, sure alot ppl fire.

compared to waze, wisepilot is much better in locking and rerouting, but im not sure about the map for wisepilot. waze map seems ok though.

Added on September 27, 2012, 9:23 amheres the map list. For malaysia, only GOOD, not complete like singapore. but thats for the paid version, for free? idk

Give Wisepilot a try but have to pay. Maps once bought is for lifetime and is downloaded to device. Navigation can opt to have lifetime or monthly. One of my device has the lifetime license.
*
so if map is permananent, then buy 1 day, download map can use forever?
