submariner fanboys pwned. but yeah.. buy what you like, not what some fictitious character wore.

though personally i feel the diver watch style is so..uh.. funny. considering 90% of the people who wears it never dived in their life. desk diving..haha.
*
just like 90% of the people who wear aviator watches cant fly a plane for nuts, or 90% who wear military inspired watches have never been to war.
to each their own.

Oris's cases and bracelets are china made?

Is it durable / good? no offence to anyone but its China made. Sorry in advance if i offended anyone.

Omega Seamaster Quartz and Omega Quartz is leather or steel?

and price difference for both of the Omegas?
*
i wouldnt be surprised if most swiss brands outsource, as they only need to be 51% swiss to have the swiss made label.
that said, oris quality is pretty decent anyway.

Pretty decent?

Hmmm, if their case isn't too bad then I won't mind since strap can be changed.
that may be a problem with oris biggrin.gif
their cases are actually pretty nice, you can go hold one and see for urself.
but once u do hold one, u can also see some models especially the divers, have their own lug design which means u need customised straps.
go surf forums like watchuseek and the oris divers are the ones that ppl usually buy anyway...most dont bother about changing straps anyway since the ones that come with it are also good enough.

Okay, thank you.

The triangular table shows the brands from low to high ends.

Oris is placed under which category?
*
if follow that stupid triangle, then somewhere between middle end and high middle...but more towards middle end.

price of ML has gone up alot...i think even with 30% off also it still costs more after discount compared to the price a couple months ago.

It is RM7500

Yup, that's what the Sales Assistant told me so..

I should have bought it in Germany last month as i saw the retail price was Euro 1,900  unsure.gif
*
couple ppl here bought that same ML few months ago IIRC for RM4.5k.
if RM7500 now, 30% off is RM5250...maybe if u try ask for 40% off whistling.gif

Not really a watch person here but surprised to see Panerai is so high up in popularity for the Malaysian market.

I'm curious how come?

What's the allure of Panerai for you guys?

the sifu says must change the bezel? its not cracked or anything right?
u should try to pry the bezel away and see if anything is missing or worn out.
the click can be caused by anything from some wire to some spring loaded thingie with a sphere on it...
who knows hes trying to cheat u since a ori bezel is not cheap...plus i didnt know still can get stock for a mid-90s tag.

just now i looked at some RM10-15 ultra cheap watches, kinda amazed that the second hand hits the minute markers perfectly...unlike others that cost 10-100 times as much tongue.gif
