bro i see u have built in the power cable into the car...

will it be distracting if the charging cable hook all the way from the lighter to the dvr?

I did not build in the cable into the car, I am using the direct hook all the way from cigarette adapter to DVR and do not feel any distracting. However, this is very subjective it depend on individual.

My first order is a FullHD unit.....and this is my second order for 2 unit HD....arrived fast as promised !! Video quality is not as good as the Full HD one... but this one has delay off after you exit your car and auto off for the LCD and lots of extra features. The FullHD one doesn't have this features... but the FullHD have 140 degree angle of view, 180 Degree for front lens rotation and smaller size which makes a big difference hence the price. It would be great if the FullHD unit have all the extra features of the HD unit.

Thank you very much Steven for you kind feedback, I am glad that you are really test it and appreciated the features in the entry level DVR. Actually there are many competitors in LYF also sell the same DVR, although the appearance and packing looks the same but without the features you mentioned above and the firmware is different as well.

bought 2 units. 4gb can hold roughyl 50 min of hd recording. Quality is not as good as point and shoot camera but for the price it is worth the value.
