This thread is going fast! Love to see you all post about the mods, but sadly cant afford it... The only mod on my far is i had changed my rear speaker and install VS & GC from eric...

The best FC so far on my LB myvi is full tank RM56.51, for 408.3km... 13.73km/l... Worst FC so far is 11.35km/l, which last me only 325km...
*
have ur myvi gone for the 1st service?..at home i got 2 2009 myvi se..one is factory stock auto with 14" SE rim and another one is a lil' modded manual with 17" rim and 4-2-1 straight pipe..so,normally for the auto if pump RM60 of fuel will get around 430KM while my manual will be 450KM..

How low profile u want bro...?? 55 also quite hard already... I dunno how people can tahan if use 40 series... Sure looks so cool, but for me, i cant tahan, my teeth feel like wana crack on every pothole.. 15" tyre u allocate 350 apiece can get very decent sporting tires... if 17 need to fork out 450-500 apiece for the same model... Andbest is to pair with lighweight wheels, or else will suffer less acceleration n less top speed
im using 40 series on 17" combine with GAB HA adjustable..Yup,the ride feel is like riding a horse..but once u hit a fast corner,u will totally forgot about the uncomfortable ride..because it stick to the road in every corner..the downside is,per piece is rm400 and above..if go for Toyo Proxxes,a bigger hole to the wallet..

Yes bro, true true... But, if u go 15", if T1R can get around rm340 range... Even toyo proxes R888 below 420...  Hehehe, that one, even 55 profile, side wall is damn hard, like made of brickwall... No flex at all cornering... Bt, if compare same tyre model with even lower profile, ofcourse lower profile will give better steering feedback...

Urs is 1st gen or second gen myvi Bro...?? Waaaa, u can stand HA izzit...?? Really hard lar last time i use... What spring rate front n rear u using...?
*
already get used to the 17"..Because of the 205 width also..Does 15" also have the 205 width?.previously i used the T1R.But after all of them become botak, that time funding is also not so much,so i got the 2nd cheapest tyre that i can find in that shop. sweat.gif .the spring rate is the one they gave during i buy the kit..So,it the standard spring rate for myvi HA i think...u said last time u use HA..now use SS already??

Yes bro, its true... SS soft if softer than HA, thats y need to change to that to retain comfort... Cuz my uncle uses SS, n set it to soft... Very good result... But, 3k++ a bit to much for my pocket.. Rugi so muc also cuz HA need to sell at cheap price at that time cuz need to sell fast one...
*
few weeks back i saw one forumer is searching for stock abs+spring to swap with his SS..just need to top up rm1.5k for it..its a great price for those whom are going to get adjustable..im actually thinking of sizing down my 17" to 15"...because with 15" confirm the acceleration going to be much more faster..

Added on November 25, 2011, 10:56 am7" wide rim confirm gonna scrape my back fender..even previously before im using the adjustable,my tyre always scrape at the back when coming to speed bump with 4 person inside..

did u lowered ur car?damn look so good.. drool.gif  drool.gif

if ride on bumpy road ok or not?if with 4 passenger.
*
yeah..that GAB HA is an adjustable absorber..its height adjustable..But for those that want more comfort, better dont choose the HA as it can be quite bumpy when driving on highway with uneven road..like riding horse bro..But if ur going to pair it with a 15" with 55 or 60 profile tyre,i think the bumpiness will be less more that what im currently feel..to me,if want comfort,i will drive my wife stock factory myvi..if want to play2 a bit on the road+entering fast corner without hesitation,i will choose my car..my car oso had a bigger size rotor for better stopping power...that rotor & calliper from a honda odyssey.

Bro, izzit the one that been advertise that have large single pot piston with 11" disc...??
*
Yeah..that one..u will be amazed how the brake bite the rotor..now im more confident in late corner braking..but need to change from dot 3 brake oil to dot 4 or dot 5.1..if not confirm gonna produce air within the brake line when done with hard braking..

Bro, ur disc brake rotor warp already... Common myvi problem... Have 2 option... cheaper option is to skim the disc, but problem will rise again after sometime... 2nd option, to change to other disc... Improve brand (my dad's using this one), or bigger diameter from honda model which many did change into myvi with minimal mod... Remember, once u change the rotor, remember to change the pad as well, because ur pads are most probably spoilt already
*
True2..if u opted to change to a new rotor, better go with the aftermarket one..because if u get the original one,the problem confirm gonna arise again later..for those 550c pads,it takes time to get it to the correct temperature to start biting hard..anyway,just got my car went for the threebond carbon cleaner..one thing i can say is AMAZING!!!...my pickup is suddenly like a new car and the throttle is very responsive..easily went to 140 with 4 adults inside..

Yup..i've done the rotor upgrade with kevin(nexxus warrior)..been using it for 1 month already..everyday very syok pressing the brake late bcoz i know that it wont fail me..not like standard myvi calliper+rotor..had few close calls with accident..

Threebond cleaner is a carbon cleaner within the intake manifold and its really work..my car had clocked at 50k km now..after doing it yesterday night,i can recall back the old feeling right after i've done my exhaust upgrade..

These bars aren't really for fast drive. It's actually mean to give you a more stable ride. With those bars installed, You would feel much stable especially cornering instead of feeling like your car is gonna sway away anytime smile.gif
*
to get a more stable ride during cornering,a set of adjustable will do the trick..at the same time, need to have good rubber also.. biggrin.gif

yup..why always speedy.be careful while driving.
"igtlah org y tersayang"
is it good for myvi to use K&N?air filter drop in.or better open pod for myvi?
my car is manual.interm of fuel saving and better pick up.
*
open pod IF and ONLY IF u have a heatshield box for the open pod to reside in..on top of that,u will need a CAI hose to scoop up the cold air..if not during the day when the sun is directly on top your head,ur car not going to breath properly as it sucks in hot air from ur bonnet..

Choice of tires can helps... Try RE002 adrenalin or 595evo... Re002 not so noisy compared with 595, n wet handling sooo good.... 595 as it gets warmer grip better, but wet handling wise not as good... And also so damn noisy... But, price wise, its bang for buck
True.U need a good set of rubber for wet handling plus during braking.Dont be like me,cheapskate..Use the 2nd cheapest rubber found in the shop for 17"...During hot condition the rubber stick to the tarmac. But during wet condition rclxub.gif ... I dont dare drive more than 90 during raining/wet condition..unless my front wheel got LSD.. sweat.gif

Guys, If I'm planning to change to bigger rims. 15" or 16" would be a better choice? I mean in terms of FC & Stability. Is it required to change to better suspension / stiffer spring ?
*
i suggest u go for 15" as the price of rubber for 15" isnt quite expensive as 16 nor 17"..Apart from that,55-60 profile tyre will provide you with a comfortable ride even if u opted for adjustable in the future..In terms of FC,what will be the normal FC for ur car?.I mean for a fulltank, how much the distance ur car could travel before it need another refill?..like my car,RM60 will yield me around 450KM(kl city drive) or 480KM(80% highway)..im driving a 2009 manual SE with 17" rim & full exhaust system change with 1.6" straight pipe..
