but u can get a rx-8 here for about rm90k..but 2nd hand of course..but owning a rx-8 here definitely going to rise up ur monthly expenses on fuel+car maintenance comparing to the myvi...but during your time at the states, the fuel cost there is more higher than here right?..

QUOTE(dothackRAVE @ Dec 23 2011, 10:21 AM) Fuel cost was higher yes. About US$3.00 per gallon, so about RM2.25 per liter? And yeah, the reason I traded in my RX-8 was because the transmission and engine were about to go. I raced almost every two weeks for about 3 years with it. Track days, time attack, autocross, drift... I'm a sane person. If I can't afford a sports car in Malaysia, I know how to be content with a Myvi. And it's all okay. I wanna work my way up to afford nicer rides anyway. A Myvi is a good entry level car (it was between the Myvi and Inspira, but my mother will NEVER let a Proton sit in our house's driveway). I like the Myvi anyway. 1.5L, 2300lbs..., why not? It's a good car to learn to drive a slow car fast. And that's what's important to me. I prefer lightweight agile cars. Luxury and the badge are all secondary. im assuming the cost for total engine complete built up there will be around the same price like here right?..around RM12-15k??.. True, true driving a myvi have its own diffrent feel...lighter,more agile and easy to handle (if have made the necessary modification to it la..if not, quite dangerous with stock rim, suspension and brake power)

QUOTE(firefly3x @ Dec 24 2011, 12:30 PM) Hi I am a new owner of Myvi 1.5 for 2 weeks. I want to ask about the petrol level indicator. One bar represents how much petrol should I put in? Thanks. To my 2009 SE,1 bar of petrol indicates 70km of road traveled..

QUOTE(AaronOcean @ Dec 26 2011, 02:53 AM) thanks for the reply, no they are the stock head lamps, i didn't change i already updated the maps, but when i compare it to my garmin, i can see a lot of differences, like this one doesn't have so many places, or the direction really sucks ! i tried the same route on my garmin and it was 4km less than the one showing on my HU true..garmin always gave the accurate direction and never guided me to the wrong place compared with my iphone papago...
