hey guys, i have my myvi ready but i found out tat the dealer like cheated me, he charges me RM260 for buying number plate where i saw the receipt is just RM210 where he agreed tat he will pay for the runner fee for me so i just need to pay for the plate fee.
Hmm..

somemore im going to borrow RM25500 from the bank but i saw the contract stated the interest rate and also the money is RM26400 where the dealer told me tat im only borrowing rm25500. so does tat mean my dealer cheated on me?
Is the dealer from Damansara Uptown

i have a problem validating a correct mapset id..any idea?
*
i don knw how to tell u but i will tell u the process..

1- download the software from Lokatoo
2- (I emptied the file in the SD Card given)
3- i unzip the file i downloaded and install the lokatoo update and point to the SD Card Directory
4- new folder will be created inside the sd card
5- put into the SE HU
6- then it will display two sets of code
7- then u somehow copy it down to a paper or take photo of the code
8- then back to the lokatoo websites and key in the code given from the car to get the activation code
9- then copy down or take photo of the activation code
10- enter the activation code into the GPS system
11- ENJOY

the problem u facing is might caused by entering the wrong code such as ZERO (0) but u entered 'O' for orange.

Usually change to aftermarket rotors to fix your vibrating problem during braking. Change to those larger suitable rotors may increase your braking power. I suggest you add a front strut and a rear anti-roll bar first. If got more budget, go for a better suspension setup.
*
aftermarket rotors is like wat rotors? Brembo? Larger means like how big? not really know about rotors and the brake. just feel tat its hard to break compared to my 4 disc-brake Wira and my Matrix.
Approximately how much to do these kind of stuffs?

So front strut is a bar inside the hood rite? Anti roll bar just for rear? not front n back?

*
the front strut bar is the one inside the hood rite? the engine there..

Rear Lower bar and Rear ARB difference apa? where u pasang anyway?

Brake pads as I know now still don't have any aftermarket ones as the size is different. The brake pads are now slimmer but longer, the older MyVi uses a slightly wider pad but shorter. In a way, size should be considered more or less the same but the design structure is different so the older MyVi brake pads cannot be used with the latest MyVi's caliper.
*
thx for the reply. so from wat u mean now is tat i need to drive slow n brake carefully rite? coz the brake is hard to step..like i gonna kick it hard like stepping clutch. >< Do i need to change the disc rotor?

Changing the disc rotor can help give you more confidence when braking. I changed my rotors already, actually was planning to get a new pair of brake pads also since already change the rotors but then the workshop found out that the brake pads are not the same design as the previous MyVi so have to wait until there's one for the latest MyVi.

Despite using the stock brake pads, changing the disc rotors only can also give you a lot more confidence, should improve more when you pair it with performance brake pads in the future. smile.gif
*
Oh, wat brand of disc rotor u changed? at where n how much?

The confidence u mean is the brake is more grip than previous? i mean if we step abit then can feel the brake already rite? the ori brake need to step hard.

yup its in d hood. mine is myvi 1.3 LB EZ, d price shld b same, jz da looks will b slightly diff for LB n LPLB's bars nia. ARB is make ur car more stable n decrease d swinging of ur car especially when high spd. lower bar i nt so noe >< da shopkeeper tell me aft install lower bar my car wil b even more stable. for front strut bar aft installed ur car will b heavier, u cn feel it. heavier means more stable. while for rear ARB it's a kind of spring, unlike front strut just a piece of metal. aft installed both i feel more stable when turning especially when doin a sharp turn.
*
smile.gif Thanks alot for the info..hmm, u r giving me a feeling tat its more FC after installing the bars. biggrin.gif

Well, I frequent to EA Autoworks for all my Ultra Racing bars, was told that the rear lower bar isn't really needed. I was told that if want to somehow complete the basic Ultra Racing setup, just go for front strut, rear anti-roll, front lower 4-point and fender bar. smile.gif
*
EA Autoworks? is it the one in Bukit Jalil area? around how much u did there?

Using IMP or also known as Improve. About pricing, best for you to ask the shop can contact Howie of EA Autoworks if you want, I did mine there. smile.gif

Well, yes more grip and braking distance is improved. Cannot say until step a bit then feel the bite a lot but still now you step a bit can feel a bit of brake is applied already.
*
Haha, Howie i knw, coz last time let him fix my viva's LED Light for whole car.
The rotor also did at EA there?

The disc rotors are the same if I'm not mistaken so not surprising for the same problem to happen with the latest 1.3 and 1.5 models.
*
they wont care about the problem anyway..they just put on car get money then settle. they don care the comfort n safety of the customer. previously my viva also like tat

OKLY, btw, after change to new rotor, how long do we need to service it?
