My car, MYVI 1.3 EZI facelift 2009, the battery died yesterday, i try to start but only got tick tick tick sound. Car horn and headlight are weak too, so I think it is the battery.
I am going to buy a battery and replace it later, but I read somewhere saying that the myvi has some security things that will make the car cannot start. "The fact is that myvi has "unique" system. Bcos in order to prevent theft, myvi alarm system only give 3 chances for starting a car. Let say 3 starts fail the alarm will deadlock and prevent car from starting it. therefore owner must send it back to Perodua centre to reset the alarm code. causes? if weak battery cause fail start then better change new battery for 2nd start." Any ideas ? cause as I remember, I do tried to start more than 3 times yesterday.. And will it affect the Alarm / ECU settings ? If cannot start then need to tow to perodua center ? Anyone can help ? |

QUOTE(rest @ Nov 21 2011, 03:06 PM) Haha so ur ride awesome now... Kinda over budget for me.do u have any idea the piping only how much? no idea on the piping but from what I have learnt so far is you can change the extractor first then do the center bullet then the piping and then only the rear box as I was using the original silencer before this.Doing the same changes to the in laws persona this week. Extractor first then the center bullet in another weeks time so they can feel the difference. |

I already changed extractor and center and muffler there...next is to bigger piping.he suggest 1.6 enough no need 2.0 an i forgot how much he quote me already.Doing the same changes to the in laws persona this week. Hi, today I went to pump my tyre, I think my tyre(new one) was pump to 42 psi when I change to new tyre 185/65/14 at the shop.
now should I pump to 42 or 32? or in between? I ask because my tyre puncture recently but I found the punctured tyre were fill to ~30psi but all other tyre are above 40psi so I can feel the steering unbalance when driving, I check/pump at petrol station when it is hot so the reading could be actually lower...
