Bro ,I think satelite launching ,leasing and maintainence is too costly ,rain fade another serious issue but cable is cheaper costs, as ABN says then can offer the same contents in asstro and more for lesser price,cos of cheaper costs. :hmm:If all goes fine i think ABN should be able make asstro behave.and we may see different channels like in MIOTV and STARHUB,with chepaer pricing.

Wow bro where u got that from !!!!!!!!!!!!!Just hope ABN takes off on schedule! I understand this technology is similiar to phone tecnology right,so the chances for wider coverage upon start off is possible.

As it is with AF, ABO smartly put into SP is a waste of money, who wants another ABO,could it be a movie or sports on demand!!

Astro's SD is F..... up and its HD is not perfect either! In my 15 years with astro I dont think thats possible,if they attend to you in 48 hours well good for u,but I wonder what they can do to make SD better ..... keep us updated. If u cannot get SD channels then its the dish alignment which took 2 weeks for astro to send a installer/technician to my cousin's place.

Astro is very greedy,it wl only add channels which wl do business with them.Most of Indian channels hv been malaysianised,airtime sold to advertisers here,so the programmes are repacked to allow this,and channels which dont allow this cannot enter its platform. Astro owns 20% of suntv.To protect suntv and advertising revenue no other channel which wl give suntv a competetion wl be allowed.The same goes with our zeetv and B4U,its all controlled by astro indirectly.This is not allowed in singapore.This is why asto has to make do with limited content. More channels may just remain a dream in malaysia as long astro monopolises the market.Channels which can debut in two weeks in other countries takes two years to be on astro,just bcos they hv to agree to deals first! Another thing we all can see they are not interested in adding new channels but keen to launch ABO'S,and AF all they want $$$$$$$$ thats all!! Astro wl be astro cos its malaysia Starhub wl be starhub cos its singapore,its compete and win situation there.Here just carry the ruling govt,

starhub does not touch channel contents,well i am all set for the next GE, but my single vote agaist those postal votes, Rela votes and not to forget immigrant voters,i dont think i can make it!

Yes bro we are all having high hopes,just awaiting ABN to launch hopefully nationwide,no matter what I wl say bye2 to asstro,cannot stand malaysianised channel offerings for such a high price..

Well said ,we are all sick of astro's malaysianised versions, all the channels have lost their glory under astro's skirt! Even streamyx sucks and when then wl Unifi reach all? If ABN is not nationwide then it wl die like MITV for sure.

They are capable of giving so many HD channels for their own use and to make money but they are not at all interested in giving more channels and choices to customers.

Agreed! wat wl be interesting is when comes to rain fade astro wl lose out! njoi is politics,with such an offering though FOC i doubt many wl be interested,advertisemnt revenue wl be enough for astro,to cover njoi!I still feel good times are over with maxis iptv,unifi,and abn coming in,they cant hold with sports for too long,as it is many are pissed off with its selection of matches.

Mitv could hv given astro a good shake ,but it wound up after getting what it wanted!the last hope to make things better for all lies on ABN!
