No air cooler can compare with WC. Why does it matter if the CPU is below 60C? We hear it from customers so often that they are "worried" about their CPU hitting 90C and being "too hot". It's really humorous TBH

Today's weather was extremely hot and we saw this aunty selling bandung on the street so tarpau-ed some back to the office.
![]() We poured them into an XSPC pump doing a 24/7 loop test, seems to work fine as a coolant: ![]() » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |

Yup. It's normal. You can flush it out with 99% alcohol and it will look crystal clear. Before doing that, I'd recommend letting the plasticizer build up for over 3 weeks. -P

It's not going to mask anything. Plasticizer will form and a cloudy interior will appear. The actual substance is powder-like and cannot be cleaned off with normal detergent.

Your card is already obsolete. No vendors will have ready stock for it.

You can move EK all the way to the bottom for their infamous leakage problem despite having an O-Ring.
Bitspower, Koolance, XSPC, Alphacool are the most common. Other full POM reservoir are also rather trouble free. The new XSPC D5 Acetal res is a winner. Be careful with Koolance's res, only use the screw on tube res. Their bay res are very hard to bleed. |

 totally messed up the reply. Somehow read RAD as RES
In terms of Performance: Alphacool UT60 XSPC RX Series There's TFC, HWLABs and what not but the above two rads are the best bang for the buck radiators you can get. With HWLABs radiators are built with almost the highest quality besides aquacomputer |

You can just connect a loop into your toilet shower hose. Run HOT water over it for a period of time. You can then just rinse it off. A small amount of "mineral water" doesn't really contaminate the loop. You can then install your loop and run distilled water in it for a few minutes then pour it off. Add fresh distilled water again. TBH, it's overkill...

No difference in the pump. Laing is the manufacturing company. The original name is Laing D5. MCP655 is Switchtech's model. Swiftech used to be really hot in WC industry therefore they managed to carve a name there with the OEM model. Many companies have OEM the pump. Bigger player will have the pumps at lower cost.
DDC is a different model. |

All Swiftech pumps come with warranty sticker. Once removed they are voided.
XSPC now sells D5 pump without the cover. You can also get Alphacool D5 motor only + cover. You can get so many different version of it. |
