You don't add any water to the EK Coolant, it's a premixed solution. But supposedly adding distilled water shouldn't be a problem

Been browsing xtremesystem for a few days picking on the next casing for another serious project but can't find anything that is really worth the time any money.

It's watercooling so hell yes you need water in the system.
Once the system is primed and if you keep the res cover closed tight, water doesn't evaporate too much. With a larger res, you can possibly top up water once a year but every few months would be a more reasonable estimate |

Cooler Master Cosmos II Super Tower - Watercooled ![]() ![]() » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Some adjustment needed to install the RX360 on the top. There's less than 1 mm clearance for the ram. |

the lighting is alright, I'd call 4 strobes proper
The rig is running at 5ghz. Will prime till tomorrow. Can't boot into windows stable at 5.1ghz even at 1.53vcore. 5 x 120mm XSPC RX is quite overkill in cooling the CPU only. The Cpu idles at about 2-3C delta. Under max load with fans at low speed = 60C. Waiting for FC block |

Sorry for your misfortune. Compression fittings all the way. All the money saved from using barbs would now cost significantly more (4 x 1tb = RM1500 almost)

That's true, it was sort of "lucky" that it leaked from the bay. Better get it fixed ASAP.

Your idle temperature is quite high. Are you in an AC room? What tubings are you using?

Yeah if you use 1/2" barb with smaller ID tubing similar to MDPC then it is harder for it to soften up and come off. BUT
1. Plugging the tubing is a pain 2. Getting the tubing in with the perfect tension/bend is a pain 3. Removing the tubing/fitting is impossible without cutting it off and splitting the tubing in half. Compression is preferred |

You can mount the cylinder horizontally at the back like some dimastech build.
Thats a hardcore controller. |

There are smaller and cooler looking res out there. Most res 100+ only what, sell and replace it, or use double res.

Yup that's the dimastech. You can mount it side ways at the side too.
