Thanks. I'm looking for "tahan" tubing, that can last long. Don't easily turn color, and flexible. I'm using promoflex black, just wanna change to clear.
*
lots of mixed input on that. there's clearflex, duralene, xspc, masterkleer and primo (both pro and advance)

xspc and masterkleer can get locally. primo pro not so sure anymore but can try from APES.

duralene and clearflex I'm not so sure about local availability.

reviews are so mixed, can't 100% say which will "work"

I order thermochill tubing from Cyntrix. I was told it was better than tygon R3603 not to mention Primo.. My primo tube only took several days to cloud..sucks. Havent use the new tube yet. Only use for testing. So far so good.. Niclos Teoh brought in Koolance clear tube..dont know how good it is compared to Thermochill, Tygon, Primo dan Feser.

Thermochill tubing? oO. this is new to me. haha!

for looks then coloured tubing is "safer", but if the leaching is terrible, it'll just add funny stuff into your loop.

its a hit & miss issue...too many factors to consider...here there is a whole thread all about this discussion: http://www.overclock.net/t/1199158/plastic...on-gallery/2250
to my understanding for clear tubing, durelene > Promochill Advanced (not PRO version, pro everyone is having issues with)

maybe tygon free plasticizer version also good? that I am not sure havent came across much discussion on that yet...I am getting clear tubing & trying to search for durelene but with no success yet. Probably will buy some promochill adv from the bulk thread somebody is doing  brows.gif  brows.gif maybe wait for his feedback on the tubing first  laugh.gif  laugh.gif
*
btw, now tygon has two plasticizer free versions yeah. not just one.

have to get kang1663's input on the primo advanced as well. he'll probably get his loop started before I do. laugh.gif

QUOTE(qwe13 @ Dec 26 2012, 03:01 PM)

res.pump-360 rad - 360 rad - ram - cpu - mobo - 120 rad - 3 gpu - res.

Myb a separate setup for gpu and other components are better, but would this setup (as above) decrease even more performance or only a bit?
*
why not have it:

res.pump - cpu - 360 rad - ram - mobo - 120 rad - 3 gpu - 360 rad - res.pump

I don't think having two 360 rads back to back will improve cooling capacity. someone pls correct me if I'm wrong.

bro, would the heat from the pump transfer directly to the cpu and cause the cpu to heat more than the other component?
*
good question. haha. I don't think so. never heard of such occurrence.

based on logical and theoretical thinking it should work...the heat produce from hardware will dissipate through radiator as a heat exchanger..experimentally im not so sure sure...i still remember the quote from tiny tom logan."loop order is not important, only 1-2 degree differentlaugh.gif
*
well yeah that's true, but why put two 360 rads one after another? quite a waste of cooling capacity, I should think.

so, one 360 rad for cpu, mobo n ram while the other 360 rad is for 3 gpu.. even though its not very important on how the loop's orders are, but its better for cooling capacity to separate each rad n not combining it together in order to cool the whole component. did i summarize it correctly?
*
pretty much yeah. not "stacking" your rads helps maximise your rads cooling capability. smile.gif

Thinking of adding sidewinder computers to my bulk options. Anyone interested?

Range of products is much less than PPC or AT and might take a little longer to get here, but there's a large range of tygon and duralene. haha!

Maybe a shipment of purely tubing. laugh.gif

What do you guys think?

Asking for advice, if I want to upgrade my noctua nhd14 to one of the AIO LCs, which one should I go for to be more worth? Based on the chart, it seems kraken is a better AIO water cooler but does it worth the upgrade?

are you running 3 fans on your D14? biggrin.gif
