QUOTE(irienaoki @ Jul 5 2012, 04:37 PM) can this run few fans (4 to 6),2 x mcp355 and LED strip? mcp 355 rated ampere was 1.5A.with one power source from the psu. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « 2x mcp355 = 3A. 6 fan ( Yateloon 1600rpm fan was 0.3a ) assume GT slightly higher, put it 0.5a. 6*0.5a = 3A. Total of 6A, LED should be low current drain. Our standard PSU cable for fan / HDD, maybe 16awg or 18awg. 18 awg good enough untill 13-15A. So I think its feasable, just make sure the 12V rail ampere is sufficient. But normally the supply does have more than 15A, maybe 30A if multi rail. Single rail PSU easily would have 70A ++ per rail. |

Try to slow down the pump maybe ?btw this my setup..just finished drain the loop. ![]() I faced this problem before, I used a 30w per channel fan controller to slow down the pump to let the buble bleed out. |

QUOTE(sam sam @ Jul 20 2012, 04:34 PM) From what I read on the low yat forum, universal blocks doesn't deliver close to full blocks not sure why. they are the same for gpu core temperature.Talking at least 15 c difference. Load for full blocks for 7970 is around 45 c but with universal block it's 66c Not sure why its so high. Another user reported higher even reason for 7970 to get higher temp is because of the design of the gpu core, which most universal block cant get good contact on the core. you need the CU adapater for 7970. |

QUOTE(sam sam @ Jul 21 2012, 11:53 PM) The temp 66c was with the cu adapter. The Card without adapter was in the 80 c region when mild overclock i see. maybe contact issue or mounting ?because based on universal blocks and full cover blocks i used before. they are almost the same. and universal block sometimes better than the full cover block due to less heat from core only. full cover block normally cover PWM and Mememory. I used XSPC rasa on 7870. temp just around 38++ and delta of 5-6c max on load. |
