QUOTE(marsha1l @ Apr 16 2012, 03:03 AM) guys..i wonder if i can any great improvement if i upgrade my pump currently using stock rasa kit reservoir + pump combo my loop res/pump+ rx 240 +xt240 + cpu block + gpu block cancel on adding another gtx580..since tried it and doesn't see any noticeable difference except in fps figure..and cancel on mobo block..since i can achieve 5ghz @ 1.45v current temp @ normal ambient local room temp no ac at noon: both gpu oc +cpu oc 5ghz idle: cpu: 38c gpu: 37c full load using p95 and furmark 1hr: cpu: 69c max gpu: 70 max btw this is on i5 system..not the 3930k » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « *hmm.overlooked at your stock rasa pump. yeah. better change the pump. QUOTE(EdwinCodec @ Apr 15 2012, 06:33 PM) Basically I need everything to be uv reactive and extend my water cooling on my gpu. Gpu type: Asus gtx 560 ti. you need to plan ahead. I saw you got a crosshair mobo. Do you want to wc your mobo chipset/ram in the future? if current you just want to wc cpu & gpu. i think you are fine with changing the pump and add waterblock for gpu. Double check your block with the link below:EK block checker btw change your stock rasa fan to Artic F12 or Scythe Gentle Typhoon 1850rpm for more effectiveness cooling your rad. For UV reactive you can have 2 type option either using adding UV dye or using UV tubing. This post has been edited by KIntos: Apr 16 2012, 09:17 AM |

QUOTE(marsha1l @ Apr 17 2012, 12:31 AM) is it?..im using 500R so..the distance from one block to another not that far..but using the mcp355 will give better performance in temp..why not your current setup temp is consider good. if gpu maintain 70c ok dy since the stock kit can do the job although dah reach limit. if you not intend to buy new pump, you can slowly hunt for 2nd pump until the stock pump die. i suggest you slowly convert to custom wc or direct sell the stock kit what should i be expecting my temp with the mcp 355?..i thought the current temp is good enough my gtx480 idle 4xc and load <60c |

QUOTE(sam sam @ Apr 17 2012, 10:16 AM) i still think its hot, for my CF 7970 i can get 50C running uniengine with fans at 500rpm, idle is around 32C with 30% oc. Perhaps you need more fans and rad. lol. you comparing 7970 with nvidia bro. he using MSI GTX580 OC with ek block based on his siggy. At one time i did stock rasa pump and a 655 running in series, like backup pump plus higher pressure too. Works really well. In case the rasa pump fails the 655 is there. anyway just buy the mcp355 and try, i hear the rasa pump can fail under a year perhaps being overstress. |

Just attempted to checkout the cart otai owikh, what is your opinion between XSPC, Primoflex LRT tubing & Feser tubing? i might be change to white tubing later since tygon silver is hard to purchase here. i think 3 of them is anti-kink tube right?Hope big shop like APES will bring in this white coolant. Anyway just bought XSPC white tubing from ezzy hopefully tomorrow can replace the yellowish Primoflex |

QUOTE(owikh84 @ May 19 2012, 10:23 AM) 1/2 ID 3/4 OD okey bro owikh. update us if xspc feel better in bending. so far my mind was on primoflex tubing as a replacement. thank youMy experience with Primoflex, Feser, & Tygon. Primoflex has the best bend radius, good for tight turns. No idea on XSPC as this would be my first time using their tubing. |

as dennos said double check your psu multi rail or single rail? if single rail, no need problem.
if multi rail you need to double check your total amp load on the 12v rail. Example you got 3x 15 amp rail mean 1 rail max 15 amp. so dont overload the rail >15 amp otherwise not stable on the particular rail. |
