maybe yes
thinking of buying GT but i need 12 units
rm5xx for fans is too much for 'unemployed' guy like me.

i think it would be better to use more rads than add more fans or better fans.
also RX360 is made for low speed so as long as a cheap fan there running low speed, the performance is good already. Actually once the fans are above 1000rpm many other rads start to be competitive as the RX
you can always use AC PWM fans, may not be so good as GT in rad position but at RM19 each now who cares. With GT the difference is around 1-2C. are you willing to pay additional rm37 each to get a marginal improvement. there is a thermal headroom for a single rad. GOing faster speeds would not be so beneficiary then

no more space for additional rad since i have 1 x quad rad and 1 x tripple rad inside the casing.
i preferred the combination of performance and good looking fan. wub.gif wub.gif

1 quad and 1 tripple is more than enuf. The main problem is still the ambient temperature. YORK/ACSON might help u.

i do feel doing a single loop in your case would be better use of the both rads more efficiently
using a 480 for cpu would have some extra thermal headroom to spare for the gpu

well i guess you need to go for GT or delta fans with headphones and the air con

I would like to ask, is this pump
http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/ind...b2196526c78f374
too powerful for a quad-sli 680 + 3960x + 8 modules ram with 2x360 radiator?

i build a separate loops bcoz i oced the proc mobo n ram.
all 3 of it produce a great heat ady.
i think i need to bear with the temp and noise for a while.

for pump, there are two factors to be considered, head pressure and flow rate.

depends on ur preference i think .
somehow i was taught that the pressure that counts .
because head pressure is the one used to ensure that your pump can push water through very restrictive loop .
for eg, having full mobo + CPU + 2x GPU + RAM + high end 480 radiator smile.gif

the head will ensure that the water could go through these things with adequate flow for better heat dissipation .

Added on March 30, 2012, 10:53 pmi'd recommend ddc3.25/3.2.
unless u can get laing ddc2/3.1 with orange propeller iinm, the best ever built but really low lifespan sleep.gif

hmm i think i'll have 2 pumps and test it out which one performs the best...=)

high flow vs high pressure

Eheim 1262 vs Swiftech MCP35X2

hmm...if anyone wants to give a pro review on these two pumps...can contact me whenever i bought the pump... =)

all will be in 1/2 barb fitting..

Too high of a flow/pressure doesn't mean you will get wonderful temps. The job of the pump is to make sure the water flows at a reasonable pace and having a 100,000 l/h pump wouldn't help to reduce temps any further smile.gif Therefore, get a pump that can sufficiently give you a good water flow depending on the loop are you configuring (no need to spend 2-3 pumps or do wonders). On the other hand, people prefer Swiftech pumps because it is quiet and runs on DC so you can easily plug onto your PSU molex connector. The Eheim is AC and you need a wall plug all the time.

My 2 cents from my humble experience rolleyes.gif

yup. asked him to quote me but his pad is 1.5mm. look like i need to compress the block hard enough for memory chip and the amp.
