but multiple tactics and correct timing
can win the game by landslide
actually the tactics i thought about is for tank, something like a armored squad, but is quite waste of squad space since it involve 2 or 3 squad to get it work
i think this might be good for map involve 2 or more tank, like kharg island, firestorm and caspian
requirement
-good tank driver x2++
-fully unlocked MBT equipment (until CITV station)
-full squad of engineer/all engineer except one assault or support
-able to equipped with guided shell
-able to equipped with LMG/HMG
let's take caspian border as example, it has 2 tanks in that map right?
if 2 tank stick together with full engineer onboard + CITV spotting it would be very powerful when they move together
if the tank move in train formation, the front tank will need to have thermal optic (prevent landmine) and LMG/HMG for gunner, then HMG/LMG/guided shell for driver
2nd tank need to have CITV station, LMG/HMG for gunner and guided shell for driver
this is the scenario:
when this 2 tank face an enemy tank face to face, the 2 tank break formation, first tank to left with normal speed (without shift), 2nd tank to the opposite direction with flank speed (with shift) until it matches with the first tank, then both side of the enemy tank will be exposed and surrounded by our tank, the tank with CITV station can tag the tank, while the other tank can shot with normal cannon and tank with CITV station can shot with guided shell/normal cannon, if the driver try to get out to repair, he would probably dead by now
after the enemy tank destroyed, one of our tank would have suffer damage and most likely to be disabled, then the 2nd tank will need to park close to the first tank to provide cover fire while the engineer repairing
this is useful in open field against tank without support and inexperienced tank driver
advantage
-good for flanking tank without support
-destroy enemy tank in short time
-laser targeting from CITV station allow engineer with javelin to shot from a distance
disadvantage
-waste of our own tank, 2 tank would be better to provide support to other squad
-if enemy got air support or engineer we might be out-flanked

another formation, similar to the settings above
take operation firestorm as example, all the flag area is surrounded by buildings if you notice, we will use 2 tanks to surround the flag area OUTSIDE of the buildings, this way the 2 tank can scan the whole flag area
the 2 tank will move in the same direction, if 1 tank is at the right side of the flag, then other tank will be at the left side of the flag like forming a diameter of a circle, then this 2 tanks will drive in circle until flag captured/area cleared
advantage
-clear flag area (conquest)
-flanking
-secure flag area while other squad capturing
-provide good cover for squad/soldier who capturing flag
disadvantage
-rooftop is the blindspot (operation firestorm)
-not suitable in tight area (caspian border hilltop and forest)
-can be out-flanked by enemy if the other squad does not provide good support
-waste of tanks, 2 tank for 1 job
