on the other hand, games like dota has its own tournament and league even at school level among students.  mellow.gif

Well, ironically, even though tournaments and leagues are organized, they don't condone the usage of original software (dota mainly) and because of that, they don't get enough coverage from the media and who can blame them? that and the fact malaysians in general are cheap bastards and only 1 out of 100 would pay for the games they play.. the rest of em will just look for a pirated copy of any new games.. and i've been asked for sc2 so many times only to hear them shrug off and say i'm crazy for paying 200 bucks for a game.. sigh..

sumtimes it depends on whether you think it's worth or not. For me, I know i'll be playing the game most of the time as my hobby, hence i think it's worth to pay a one time 200+ for it and can play forever online. Even if i hv to pay 400+ i will still buy. Just one time investment maa..

For a person who just wanna finish the campaign and then will not continue to play, they might think it's not worth it.. wink.gif

That's actually very true.. I have a few friends whom bought the game just to play the campaign and never really bothered to continue playing it anymore.. They even gave me their username and password but then when I gave them to some of my friends to use, they didn't even bother playing with me.. I reckon paying for the game actually made me spend more time on it but then again i've always had an affinity towards RTS games.. from the original C&C to SC2 smile.gif
